A young little girl loves to play in her garden. Here she feels safe and protected and can let her imagination flow. Her best friend in the garden is an angel. She and the angel do everything together, from painting to tea parties, to exciting adventures battling pirates or dragons. As the girl grew, the angel taught her to have courage, not just in battling dragons but against the fear that lived inside her. Whenever the girl was afraid, she would go to the garden to see her angel friend. Here she would hear the whisper from her friend of all the wonderful things she could do when she had the courage to follow her dreams. As the girl grew into a young woman, she became unsure of things, so she returned to the garden to see her old friend. The angle reminded the girl to choose courage over fear.

You Got This – A Tale of Courage by Wanda Carter Roush and illustrated by Nataly Simmons is an inspirational Christian picture book. Children learn that strength comes from within themselves from this story. The message of confidence and faith is inspiring. The girl in the story has no name, making it easy for young readers to relate to the character and imagine themselves in her place, fighting off mean words, battling fear, and overcoming doubt.

The artwork in this children’s book is breathtaking. The little girl, as she grows, transforms from a carefree child to an unsure school girl to a young woman filled with confidence. Each page is filled with details that bring the story to life and draw readers into it, making it easy to incision themselves as the character, not just someone looking into the book.

You Got This – A Tale of Courage is a beautifully written picture book to help children build confidence and self-esteem. The phenomenal messages of courage, confidence, and defeating fear will inspire young readers.

The angel came to see the little girl.
They had lots of fun together.
Soon they had grown up and gotten older.

What happened then?

I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (elementary age) angel storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s angel movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

My Review:
Recently I read the Children's Book 'You Got This'. It is a story of courage and is recommended for both kids and adults.

Even after growing up, sometimes we couldn't get the courage to face our fears and as a result we don't do great things for which God has created us.

A young girl spends Summer with an angel in the garden. Together they play games, host tea parties, etc. On an adventure one day, when the words of dragon will pierce the girl's heart, will she find the courage?

Kids will fall in love with this story. Overall, really good Children's Book that I highly recommend. Both the main characters of the story are amazing. It's a worth reading book.

"You Got This" is a beautiful story of courage written by the author Wanda Carter Roush and illustrated by Nataly Simmons. Story features a little girl and an angel who make great memories every summer. Once when they were on an adventure, they encountered a dragon. Grab a copy of this book and get to know yourself will the little girl be able to overcome her fear to fight the dragon?

Illustrations are pretty and made the story more enjoyable. Author has written this book nicely. Little readers will learn that everyone gets scared sometimes and we should choose courage instead of choosing fear. Parents could gift this book to their little ones. It's a must read story.

Sweet and encouraging story for younger readers, and, perhaps, some not so young readers who need a boost. This young girl spends time in the garden with an angel. She's happiest there where the angel supports and encourages her to be who she is meant to be. Even as an adult, she returns to seek inspiriation and comfort. Readers see this young girl find belief in herself and the courage to honor her dreams and passion. The illustrations are richly colored and detailed. A lovely book to look at and to read.

A little girl spends her days going on adventures with her angel. Sometimes things get hard, but the angel is always there to reassure her.

This is a book that could have done with a bit less narrative distance. It reads like a sigh, but not a very interesting one. The main catchphrase "you got this" is so un-poetic comparatively that it's jarring. I appreciate the message, and the illustrations are truly lovely, but I would love to see the writing edited a few more times to make it feel more alive.

A little girl enjoys visiting the garden where her guardian angel stands behind her giving her the courage to share adventures and later to face challenges in school. As the girl grows older, she faces new challenges but the angel is always there to support and encourage her.

When the girl becomes an adult and moves away the angel is sad. Life has become difficult for both of them. Will the woman find the strength to move forward? Can the guardian angel find happiness once more?

The picture book contains beautiful illustrations and valuable life lessons. An uplifting story for any age.

I love this little book. The words and the illustrations go together so well. I would recommend this book to any child. Especially those who are frightened, have a complex, are unsure of what and who they are, those searching for confidence and feelings within. This is a lovely book, enhanced by beautiful illustrations, about imagination and self-belief, courage and following your dreams. I liked that it called out some specific fears that children can experience and provided encouragement to overcome them. And it showed that while you might not always feel courageous, even then, you got this. A great inspirational book for children and a wonderful, gentle reminder for those of us who are no longer children.

Beautiful story

An angel stood by a little girl. They created memories together playing and the angel always encouraged the little girl to choose courage before fear. When the girl grew up she returned to the gardens to see her angel but was a little sad. The angel reminded her to choose courage. A lovely story about encouragement. We really enjoyed reading it.

A must-read!

I liked this colorful book! Sometimes children wonder how angels look like, where they live and what they can do. I am glad that the author wrote this beautiful story that perfectly portrays the relationship between a kid and an Angel. The happy ending (you can be the masterpiece you were created to be) was my favorite part of the book. I highly recommend it.

The story is about a girl and an angel who protects her on the path of life. The author mentions that the book will appeal to all readers who love "Oh The Places You'll Go", but I didn't find that link. However, the book is worth reading and will appeal to all parents who believe in angels and other supernatural beings and want to guide their children in this way.

Adorable book about courage

This is a great book for teaching courage and self belief to kids. The little girl appears to have a guardian angel with her that gives her courage to do so many things but once she gets into the real world she begins to lose it but is quickly reminded that it’s all within her.
