A beautiful blend between family ties and teenage hormones, Addicted To Her raises many questions and maybe a few eyebrows while Rafa's story plays out. With a wide range of characters and strong development of his entire family unit, Lynch has built a very realistic portrayal of a teenage boy torn between lust and family. Addicted to Her,by Janet Nichols Lynch, was actually a pretty good read. It was a story about a boy named Rafa who was obsessed with a girl named Monique who he didn’t really know that well. He was basically infatuated by her and her beauty. When he finally got the chance to be with her, he quit wrestling and committed himself fully to her. They went on a whirl wind of events that caused the ending of the book to be a little unpredictable.

Here's a great one to add to your Bromance list (romance for boys or from a boy's point of view). Janet Nichols Lynch was on Quick Picks for her book Messed Up, so I was excited to get this new one from her. Boys will be drawn in immediately by the beautiful girl on the cover. It starts out as a romantic love story as Rafa finally gets the attention of Monique, and decides to show her how much better true love can be than what she has with Luke, her verbally abusive boyfriend. Rafa's romance wit ...more

Perfect read for fans of Perfect Chemistry series! Loved this read and great book for boys to see how you can get obsessed with the wrong girl at an early age. High school drama, wrestling, romance, friendship, deportation, and family issues. Great spicy read!

Very well-written coming-of-age novel! The author shows great insight into adolescence and young romance. A must-read for young adults.
