Vampblade vol 8

It's interesting to see the different worlds and the different vampblades, than everything goes to hell.... You'll have to read and find out how.

While I am happy that they revisted Katie's hookup back in season 2, they really pushed this idea that they had an actual relationship. They didn't. They talked for maybe 5 minutes before she got sent down to hell.

Our Katie's adventures through the circles of hell are interspaced with Alternate!Katie just now learning how to be Vampblade. Which unfortunately means that she is horribly inexperienced. But the problem of the ever evolving TSDs remains because Katie gets destroyed pretty easily.

Art's still good, but the story continues to spiral into nonsense.

This book picks up right after the last one and is even better. Quick overview: the original Vampblade goes into hell to find her friend while the new Vampblade is getting used to her new powers while hunting Glarkians on her Earth. The book ends on a cliffhanger that begs the reader to read the next issue.

The art is an improvement over the last volume. If you enjoyed the series so far then give this book a read.
