An introductory read. If you're already familiar with interior design even as an amateur, you'll find most definitions in this book useless. It looks as if it's been written for 5th graders. Maybe I'm too harsh...I really don't like tearing down someone's efforts to make a whole field intelligible to outsiders, but to me this was a waste of time. The examples of austere student projects speak a lot about the level of de-humanisation found throughout most of contemporary art and design today. The best I could find in it were some quotations from great architects.
