Rate this book
What happens when an alligator crashes a wedding?
Tilly's special day is ruined when not only does a gator make an appearance, but the sound system goes down, it rains, the caterer delivers the wrong meal... and is later found dead. Some of Tilly's family were the last ones to see the woman alive, and law enforcement believes one of them is the murderer. As Tilly rifles through the clues to find the real killer, she comes to believe someone sabotaged her wedding on purpose. But are the killer and saboteur the same dangerous person, or does she have two mysteries to solve?

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Carly Winter; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

This book is part of a series and each book can be read as a stand alone. However, the underlying story line is progress, so it is best if read in order. Each book has a completed mystery ending.

News and Noodles is book 4 in the Tri-Town Mysteries series and possibly the last? There is a spin off series mentioned so I am thinking this may be the last book of this series, which makes me kinda sad. I hope the characters from here, show up in the next one. so who knows.

Tilly has finally accepted her fate and wants to spend the rest of her life with Derek, but as always, when it comes to Tilly, the journey to get her down the aisle is not an easy one.

Good story line, likeable characters, engaging dialogue, and easy to visualize detailed descriptions.

Written as a 3rd person, single pov with a completed mystery ending.

Tilly's wedding day doesn't go as planned. The airline loses her gown, the preacher is in a wreck, an alligator sends all the guests fleeing, the wrong food is delivered and then there is the dead body in the van. Jealousy plays a heavy hand in this murder mystery. Tilly has to find who the murderer is to save Hank, her stepfather, who she believes is being framed. The alligator was a nice touch, especially the baths. Very good, full of mishaps, some make you chuckle others have you feeling bad for Tilly. This is the first book I have read in the series, I like it so well I am going to read the previous ones.

Tilly’s wedding day has been ruined by far too many coincidences. This has to be intentional destruction of her should-have-been perfect day. The airline lost her wedding attire, an alligator showed up for the festivities, the sound system died, it rained (well, that may have been a coincidence), and the caterer messes up the menu. And besides all of that, the caterer is found dead, with the last people to see her being some of Tilly’s family members! Naturally the police are suspecting one of them to be the obvious murderer.

So is it any wonder that Tilly is convinced this was sabotage? Is it the same culprit in both cases? Or are the murderer and the saboteur two different people?

Wedding bells are finally ringing for Tilly and Derek, or are they?
The couple decided to marry in Louisiana at her parents home complete with a gator named Irwin (named after Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter).
Of course the day would have to include another murder! Why can't a girl get a break, and why is someone she loves always being blamed for the murder.
This is book 4, the final book of the series. Such a wonderful series, one I am sure you will love.

Tilly is finally getting married, but boy does everything go wrong! On top of the bad luck there is also a murder. So, really bad luck! The sheriff has a crush on Tilly’s mom and wants to pin the murder on her step dad. Total jerk! But Tilly, with help from her friend, Debbie, are on the case! Are there two suspects, one for the wedding sabotage and one for the murder, or is the same person?
Wonderful characters and a wonderful story! Loved it!

Her wedding was a ruined. Airline lost her dress. Alligator crashed her wedding, the food was not what it was supposed to be and to go out all off soon beyond was murdered. Makes you wonder if it is worth getting married! It was very well written and full of suspense just like the rest of her books. 5 stars! I would give it 10 but they only allow 5!

A lost wedding dress, a wedding crashed by an alligator, yes an alligator and the wrong food has been delivered. Tilly is beginning to wonder if it's even worth getting married?

It's well written, entertaining, suspenseful and twists and turns that keep you turning the pages to find out what happened and who did it. The characters are fun, well developed and easy to like.

I really enjoyed this book. Tilly was a fun heroine, in such a horrifying scenario. The writing was fast-paced, with lots of twists and turns, just the way I liked it. The book kept me guessing until the end, but everything came together in a satisfying way. This was my first book by Carly Winter, but it won't be the last.

Unputdownable!

What a delightful, cute, fun story with some wonderful characters. I even thought that Irvin was delightful. I picked up this book after reading a few chapters in a newsletter. It interested me enough that I bought the book, started reading and didn't put it down until I finished reading the entire book.

The Whole Series Was Great!!!!

Each book on its own was a page turner. I never knew who committed the various crimes. The whole series had great storylines and I enjoyed all immensely. I would recommend the Tri-Town Murders to anyone looking for mystery and love in one series. Thank you to the author, Carly Winter, for sharing her talent.

Poor Tilly was so looking forward to getting married at her parents' home but everything went wrong from the word go. Someone was out to sabotage the wedding and coupled with bad luck and murderous intent, there was just no chance that the wedding was going ahead.

I was horrified reading how one thing after another went wrong on her big day. Winter did such a good job, I had to give myself a shake to realise that it was just a story! And a good one it was too! Well written, full of suspense and intrigue, keep you reading.
