About the author

Andrew Darlow is a photographer, educator, and digital imaging consultant based in the New York City area. For over 25 years, he has consulted on the topics of digital photography, digital output, and color management for individuals and corporations. His commercial and consulting clients have included Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, Tiffany & Co., Tourneau watches, Cigar Aficionado, and The Body Shop.

As Editorial Director of Digital Imaging Techniques magazine, he wrote and edited numerous articles and reviews on the topics of digital and fine art photography, inkjet printing, and Photoshop techniques. He has lectured and conducted seminars and workshops around the world at photo-related conferences, and for photography organizations and schools, including Advertising Photographers of America (APA), The Center for Fine Art Photography, Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Arles Photo Festival, Columbia University, The School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York.

His photography has been exhibited in group and solo shows, and his inkjet prints are held in numerous private collections. His work has been included in many photography publications, web sites and books, including Photo District News, Professional Photographer Magazine, PDNonline, PPmag.com, photo.net, photofocus.com, Popular Photography and American Photo. I won this book and really enjoyed it. There are 101 tips for taking good pet pictures. For those of us who are not very creative, it provides good inspiration for more interesting pictures. There is some technical information for those who pay attention to shutter speed, etc. but for those who don't, it doesn't interfere. Of course there are also great pictures.

I am going to donate my copy to the Cascades Humane Society. Hopefully helping the staff there take better pictures will result in more animals being adopted.

tips di buku ini mantap dan menarik untuk dicoba semua. disini juga dikasih beberapa hasil fotonya dia, fotonya bagus dan captionnya juga lucu-lucu.

kebetulan saya juga lagi pengen menekuni dunia foto,terutama foto kucing, jadi ya ini beneran bermanfaat banget

This is a book aimed at the beginning photographer, so it may not be right for you if you've had more shooting experience. It does have some useful suggestions for angles and poses, however.
