Glimpse:
We are addicts.
Addicted to work, addicted to sleep
Addicted to fast foods, addicted to treats, Addicted to diets, addicted to weight, Addicted to shopping, addicted to dates, Addicted to sex, addicted to drinks,
Addicted to what other people might think, Addicted to parties, addicted to drugs, addicted to smoking, addicted to pubs.

I’m addicted to breathing, I’m addicted to sound
I’m addicted to turning others pains around
We’re all addicted to something, it’s not just negative
Close your eyes, pause, admit it and live.
We are addicts.
Know thy ego. Know Thy Self. Egolution.

My views:
The above poem shares a lot about the book. The book consists of 40 poems of different plots used as a metaphor to narrate some mesmerizing pleasure of calmness in life. It is a small book with easy language and a good way to uplift the mood.

Egolution is a beautiful poetry collection that calls for introspection and self awareness so that you can evolve into your higher self.

The writing style is unlike I have ever read in any poetry book, the lines are much longer and meaningful. The content is powerful as it shows the wrong ways in which we are living, how we are all "addicts" of something and also shows the path out of it. One thing I liked is that the book advocates seeking all the answers that we want within ourselves and not outside in form of gurus or religious dogmas.

It also talks about depression, anxiety, twisted perceptions and a lot more. All the poems have spiritual tone and it talks about cosmos, life purpose, soul path but in contemporary terms. You will especially like this collection if you are a spiritual person or someone who likes to work on oneself and is ready for some introspection.

The first glimpse of the book promised a unique content through the unique title 'Egolution' and also the different looking book cover.

If you are reading the book, I solely recommend to read the 'Epilogue' and not to skip it at any cost, for those words are thought provoking and I fell immensely for the truth each word portrayed. Also, the Epilogue gives a good idea on the mindset of the author and what we could expect from the poems inside.

There are 44 poems in total in this book. What I liked is the outlook of the author towards the world. The poems flow through the theme, notably, they rhyme throughout. My favourite poem here is 'Non-Fiction Addiction'.

Poetry lovers, who admires the metaphor and descriptions of nature and beauty, won't fid it very suitable for them, for the theme is entirely about advices.

It's a short read and the verses are not tough to understand. I believe, people who admires Non-Fiction and poetry will find it more interesting.

Poems are talking about the self, the universe and awarene𝐬𝐬. Author presented every poem in a very beautiful way and every poem is crafted in a very creative way with full of clarity.

The poems are not too long but very deep, maybe the Reader would finish it in one go but try to read slow, understand each line with clarity then surely one will go into a deep realisation.

The language of every poem is not too easy to understand, you may have to Google some words but it would definitely going to prove worthy for you.

'Egolution: Volume 1 - Revolution Starts Within' by Jessica Noifeld is a collection of poems which revolve around various emotions, addiction and motivation. I liked how the author has mentioned that we humans always have unending needs which somewhat results in destruction, addiction and ill health. Many times we really need to sit and search of the real meaning of life and why is it that we cannot find peace, what is the reason behind our anxiety and stress? The answers are all within us but it's just that we ignore ourselves and are just running behind something which we still not aware of. These feelings of passion, desire, ego, anxiety, stress are nicely depicted by the author through these poems. To know more read 'Egolution - Volume 1 - Revolution Starts Within.
Author has nicely depicted various feelings that we experience through these poems. I loved how the author has given a very deep meaning through the line - Know Thy Ego. Know Thy Self. Egolution. Language is simple and lucid.
Some of my favorite poems are as follows:
• Life Through a Lens
• Sugar-Coated Spirits
• Haters
I really enjoyed reading this beautiful collection of poems and would surely recommend the book.

"Know Thy Ego. Know Thy Self. Egolution"

🍁 This beautifully written book takes us deep into the realm of calm and peace. It is a compilation of poems written by the author over a period of time, often in different locations. Most of the poems have been written in Thailand with few in England and India. The poems have creative titles that will effectively lure you in to read them.

🍁 The poems are based on human emotions & mindsets, the universe as an energy source, spirituality, and everyday simple life. It provokes us to evaluate ourselves, to admit both our negative and positive traits. It brings across a strong message on human greed and the instilled nature to want more. To truly live this life, is to put ourselves above these wishes which only bring sorrow and temporary happiness.

🍁 Some of my favorites are:
- My Guru Has a 1000 Faces
- Rich
- Sugar-Coated Spirits
- Manifesto
- Twin-Flames

🍁 The poems teach us to be grateful for everything that we have, to be compassionate to others, and passionate about our dreams. All-in-all it was a great read, one that left me feeling hopeful and at peace! Recommended to all lovely souls out there, it is a must-read!

According to me poems are one of the best ways to express our thoughts and emotions, rather it be happiness or sorrow and the author has beautifully presented everything in the form of this book. As a big fan of poetry I love to find new poets who inspire me and make me question my own view of the World. This is definitely a collection that I’ll read again, and will flick to random pages often.

Egolution is just beautiful, stimulating and whimsical read. It hit me in places where few poets have managed to reach. These poems are real, relatable, and heartfelt. You can read through this book of poetry quite quickly, but you'll find yourself thinking about the poems long after you've finished. Each poem has a different kind of emotion running through. Some are simple while others are written beautifully. Each poem sparks a thought, a memory and takes you on your own journey. I highly recommend this book of poetry to anyone who loves poems.

As I decode it The books title mean ego's revolution or ego's evolution .Evolutionof ego to cause a revoultion is what suited best to me.

The Ardent emotion Ego that blinds and tempts every human in every choice they make is a risky quotient. Ego co trolss us often hiding behind the veil of pride and practically and coldness leving us eventuallyy affected by it and feel regrettable.

This book is a reading meditation of 44 poems that lets the words breath through our consciousness and make us aware of our emotions ,what weshould let flow and what we should tame. It trches and tells us to not be controlled by ego but control it.

To know oneself ,admit to oneself and get empowered not overpowered .

Recommended to readers looking for a sweet escape and positive read. The poems are well written.

Be wild, be free, be fruitful, don’t let ‘awareness’ be thy trap They’re always gonna find a way, to capture you with ‘facts’. Hear them, feel them, understand them, experiment for sure, But should ‘awareness’ leave one, with more pain than before?

These are my favorite lines from the book. The book consists of poems , poems that talk about black lives matter, corona , feminine, flames and much more topics like this which no one wants to discuss.

The author shares her experience through this book, she even mention the date and place when these poems was written and i really like this idea. Most of the poems end with her mantra "Know thy ego, know thy self"

My view-
The language use in the book is good but not simple , as I had to google some words. I really like the poems and the cover is so amazing.

Recommended to all.

The sonnets in it at times talk about the universe, once in a while the point movements to exceptionally customary things which we find in our regular day to day existences and some of the time it simply makes you introspect. The excellent sections are fit for making you think further about your life, about your emotions and about your activities. I love the wonderful way the poetess has referenced where she has composed a specific sonnet. It some way or another gives you an interesting space to envision things.Though, not extremely melodious, it can alleviate your nerves. For better arrangement read one sonnet every day and do whatever it takes not to complete it in one go. Allow the fixings to open up itself individually and give yourself an opportunity to find and appreciate every single flavor that it is comprise of.

It's a small book of poetry based around knowing oneself and becoming a better version of oneself.

The begining appeared not so good to me but the interest built up as I went on reading and then I really liked a few poems.

However, even after finishing the book I could not quite comprehend the reason behind the titles of several poems and the inspiration behind the poems.

Almost all poems end with the author's mantra -
Know thy ego. Know Thy Self. Egolution.

Several poems are motivational. There are poems on Corona, on BLM, and other things.

There are a few poems that I found the best-
Non-fiction addiction
Sugar-Coated Spirits

After reading a lot of modern-poetry, I liked to read something that rhymed, that's all the poems in this book.😅

This poetry is typically short, but largely emotionalBut author jessica get in touch with sentiments they might not have known they had until it was down on paper.

Depression and anxiety are among the top two mental illnesses we can heal through poetry

I can start to understand the hindrances and blocks being formed around by mind.

Expressing how one feels is difficult. I’ve found this poetry is one of the best book

A poetry book of 44 poems collection. All those poems have the stains of the emotional stresses one person had passed through in life. Poems are always healing for mental illnesses and depression, the author is successful in presenting all poems with a wide perspective which is deeply touching.

All those poems that are written in an intensive manner with an emotional touch. At the same time it also questions the existence and reality of the world where people choose to live the lives of the people they see. The others who have already found their happiness or happy spot are judged, abused and harassed for being unique.

Enjoyed the read of this book. Highly recommended
