This is a difficult one to say that I’ve ‘finished’ as I didn’t take all the many pathways this book goes down. I was reading with my 4 year old- who is super into Star Wars. But he isn’t yet to this level yet. I think choose your own adventure books are more catered to the 8-12 year old phase. He grew disinterested quickly- and once we reached the end of one story line- I decided to call it. He wants more battle scenes and storm troopers, and this just wasn’t his speed yet.

Extremely forgettable little Star Wars choose-your-own-adventure that tries to take you to various locales from the franchise but ultimately feels hollow and inconsequential. All the characters seem semi-related to other, more famous characters making it read more like fan fiction than something officially licensed. Very much a vehicle to push a website that you visit in tandem with the book, but the website has since closed. You can still read it without the complimenting website, but you can't help but feel it's kind of important to the experience when the book itself is so bland.

This one had a large variety of choices and lots of good vocabulary again. The first few choices we made were all scarier than the last two books. So much so, that we almost stopped reading it. When we finished it though, it was an instant, "Let's start it again!"
