Those Canyon Nights

The last person Faith Benson expects to see while visiting family in Big Cat canyon for Thanksgiving is Jared McKay. Years ago she had a major crush on the handsome cowboy. But because of his past, Jared has no faith in women and blames her for his brother’s problems. Jared’s old attraction to Faith is reignited as they spend time together during the holiday and he can’t help his growing feelings for her. Now he wants the opportunity to spend days—and nights—with Faith. Can Faith prove to Jared that there is more to their relationship than some hot canyon nights?

Ms. Denholtz has again written another enjoyable story, this time bringing together two people whose lives had crossed in the past. Faith and Jared meet again during Thanksgiving holidays where old feelings come to the surface. Faith remembers warm feelings toward Jared, but Jared only remembers how she pushed his brother to drinking after she dumped him--or so he thinks. Ms. Denholtz touches on the social issue of alcoholism as she brings Faith and Jared together to face their feelings for one another.

Thanksgiving romance with a nostalgic twist!
I enjoyed this story about Faith returning home for Thanksgiving and reconnecting with Jared, someone she’d had a crush on in the past. The setting gave it a nice seasonal feel, and the romance developed in a natural, believable way. A solid, enjoyable read.

The story was enjoyable. Faith and Jared interacted before because Faith dated his brother, Rod. There are misunderstandings between her and Rod's family causing anger toward her. Several things are repeated often, unnecessarily. There are several grammar issues.
