This book provides some excellent advice for couples and families who are going through rough times financially and need to support each other. The authors recognize that any relationship can be strained by finances and offer practical suggestions and advice for how the family as a whole can pull together and come to good agreements about money while growing closer as a result. They also provide some great anecdotes that show how other people pulled together and learned how to manage their finances while also creating a better relationship. A must read, regardless of what stage your relationship is in.

This book had some great advice on refocusing your relationship and prioritizing your life to address the things that are truly most important. In the current economy it's very easy to become fixated on the outer trappings of life and lose sight on the gifts we DO have. Money issues can bring stress on any married couple, but this book can help us to see those issues as challenges that can bring us closer together, not drive us further apart.

Even though I am not married, I still garnered good financial advice from this book. A lot of it is just common sense. Don't let money become more important than your relationships. That applies to all relationships, not just to marriage. But we all still need reminding because we are human.

Excellent read. Very well thought out and insightful. I won't say I agree with everything, but the author does offer some very good stuff for your growth and development. DEFINITELY worth reading.
