[This book is written in Chinese.] The History of Italian Literature illustrates the development of Italian literature systematically, ranging from the origin of folksy and religious Italian literature to the wonderful circle of poetry characterized by great scholars such as Dante Alighieri, Petrarch, and Boccaccio; from works of the 16th–18th century to the Enlightenment as well as the Romantic period; and from the literature created under the regime of Fascism in the 20th century to post-WWII and current narrative literary works and poems. The History of Italian Literature is the result of a specific research project, which not only sketches the evolution of Italian literature, but will undoubtedly promote relevant scholars to further research this field.
