Very powerful story. It was difficult to process the physical and emotional pain Kim had to endure to learn the lessons she needed to learn. At first, I thought my own suffering paled in comparison, but I realized that my pain has been there in many different ways. I gained a greater appreciation of my challenges in life through reading this book. I hope that I can come off conquerer, as she did. I feel like Kim is a good friend, even though I've never met her. I LOVED her descriptions of heaven, especially how our family members help us in our daily lives on earth. A truly inspiring read.

This is my neighbor and I am totally amazed at her ability to give forgivness. You won't believe what she saw or went through unless you read it.
Things I learned: watch my thoughts, be more forgiving, my life is not all the hard, and service is a great gift. (This I already knew, I love to serve, but it reminded me to keep it up.)

I think this is going to be my favorite NDE (near death experience) book. The author was hesitant to write down her experience, as I know I would be. With her religious background, it included things that only the LDS person would understand. Her description of the afterlife is everything I supposed it to be. I loved, loved it!

This was an wonderful book with great insights. I read it while doing hospice for my father and during his death and funeral. I know what I believe about the other side of the veil, but this book helped confirm my knowledge.
