My daughter's piano teacher used this book with my daughter when she first started playing. It includes 5 groups simple to more advanced piano fingering exercises, divided into twelve (a dozen) exercises per group. The student is expected to master and perfect each group of a dozen exercises before proceeding to learn the next group. These exercises are meant to be warm-ups for piano playing.
