Soul Savers #9

Age of Angels Part II: Lost

When a portal of darkness opens, do you go through it or run the other way? Sometimes there’s no choice. Part Lost

Sixteen years since the war. Sixteen years since the Age of Angels began. And still, Demons roam the Earth, the dead are more likely to reanimate as zombies than vampires, and black magic permeates our world—doing its best to destroy any progress we make in rebuilding civilization. Through it all, we’ve managed to prevent any more wars, but peace constantly dances on the edge of a blade called desperation. Especially in recent months.

A dark energy is building, advancing around the world and feeding malice and aggression. Demons are changing, growing stronger. Humans are evolving too, gaining dangerous powers they can’t control. If we don’t find the source of this dark energy, war will be inevitable.

When my daughters go missing, an enigmatic portal swirls in the last place they were seen, the same dark power pulsing from its depths. We have no choice but to go through to find them, only to discover the cold, hard truth. Our family has survived so much already, but can it survive this and what’s still to come? Can the world?

Very good little novella or novel, not sure which it is. This latest addition to the Soul Savers series is pretty good. Maybe not as exciting as the previous books because out of necessity there was quite a bit of back story to fill in as quite a few years have passed since the last book. Still there was some really good stuff going on and I appreciated the appearance by Dorian. I'm hazarding a guess that this book takes place before the Havenwood Falls books because the twins are students at the HF Sun and Moon Academy. I don't want to give anything away so no spoilers. I'll just say I'm looking forward to the next book.

Waited a long time for the continuation of this series. By far and wide, my favorite series. Kristie has developed a world in which we all can live in. Yes, even after the disaster. You just have to read and indulge to imagine what I am talking about here. I will re-read this series over and over again. Thank you Kristie for the continuation of my favorite story.

A long time coming

This is a story that’s been a long time coming. I am so excited for this mini series to bridge the gap into Knights of Souls and Shadows. This was a refreshing read with an amazing story line with all of my favorite characters. The cliff hanger is real...... each chapter keeps you on the edge of your seat right up until the end. I cannot wait for the next book!!!! (.....to be released in April 2020)

This author is so amazing, I even got my mother into her books. I have the digital and physical copies of the soul saver series and up. I highly recommend reading the Soul Saver series if you haven’t already. If you have be ready for the twins to take over the story and give you more than you could have imagined. There’s even a bit of a twist as the Phoenix Trilogy is once again being intertwined.
