Leland is addicted, granted it's to cinnamon rolls, of which he tries to get as often as possible and gets frustrated when he's thwarted. When he finally meets the creator of such sugary goodness he has a new addiction. If only he didn't always seem to say the wrong thing when in her presence.
Abigail, after losing her job when her boss retired, does what she can to make ends meet. That just happens to mean baking and selling to those who've discovered how delicious her treats are. When she meets Leland, and learns of his love for her rolls, she's a little flabbergasted. Not because he likes them, but from how sexy he is. Good read. Slight push/pull in the beginning, but it didn't last long. Good story, more of them falling in love and getting to know each other. Only om drama is from someone who wanted her, but she kept turning him down. Doesn't last too long.

This was a good short story that I enjoyed. I love to see a man so all in and deeply in love in a relationship. This is a safe read. Both hero and heroine are both virgins.
This short story is about Abigail Ryland who makes fabulous cinnamon rolls and Leland Kennison, a rancher and loner addicted to said cinnamon rolls.
They first meet when Leland arrives early at the diner to get in line for the iced cinnamon rolls that Abigail delivers fresh daily. The last few times he has come into town for them the diner had already been sold out. He decided to come in at opening time hoping to purchase a coffee and roll and see if he can get the recipe from the woman who bakes them.
That day he hits paydirt and meets the beautiful Abigail and buys her a coffee and roll but he ends up messing it up by asking her to give him the recipe. It upset her and she left crying. He has been returning every day to try to apologize and make things right.
When Abigail runs away from a man who is trying to get fresh with her she ends up running out of gas...right by Leland's farm. This is where I feel the story really begins. He knows he wanted her for his wife the first day he met her.
Definitely recommend! Can't wait for the second book, 'Lassoing Her Heart' that features Sam and Donna who we met in this book.

Another great read from Elisa Leigh.
Roped into Love has a gruff alpha with OTT tendencies, and a sweet yet outspoken heroine who isn't afraid to put said alpha in his place.
Quick, sweet, safe read with a lot of naughty fun times and a tiny dash of drama.
Hoping Donna might get her own story.

This is the swoon worthy story of Abby and Leland. Abby is an independent woman who is going through a rough patch but baking her way to the other side. She is known for her sweets, but to Leland, it is her fresh cinnamon rolls that capture his heart, or should I say tease buds. Leland is a rancher/cowboy who has lived alone so long that he has partially driven away people. He is used to being alone and gets a little possessive when it comes to Abby.
This story was just plain gooey and sweet. I loved the insta everything that was their relationship. I also loved the way that these two fit so well together. The plot of the story (with Abby’s house) and the secondary characters really make this a must read. With a guaranteed HEA, a hot cowboy, a sassy baker and wonderful family, you cannot go wrong with this book.

If there is one thing in this life that is guaranteed, it's this - I love me some sexy cowboys. I don't know what it is about them, but if I read a book title/description and I see cowboy or ranch or country, I'm a goner. My first read by this talented author was Holding Onto Kinsley and based on my review, I think we all know how much I loved that one. So, it was a no brainer with Roped Into Love.
Story Line: Abby is a seriously talented baker. Leland is a seriously successful ranch owner. Their worlds collide when her tasty treats become somewhat of an addiction to our sexy cowboy and he all but demands the recipe. Come on now, Leland. You know women never give away our deepest secrets. Tisk Tisk. But of course, that's not the end to their adorable banter. No, poor Abby legit has the worst luck. But of course, as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. And thank the good Lord for that. Because without bad luck, Abby wouldn't have gotten her happily ever after as soon as she did. I loved her independence, but I loved what Leland offered her too. Their chemistry and angsty build up was perfectly paced and incredibly well written.
Interaction: Leland is a man who is used to getting what he wants. So of course he saw zero problem with asking Abby for the recipe for her cinnamon rolls. I mean, duh, she would save him a trip to the dinner every other day if she would just give it up. Men. Insert eye roll here. Abby has been making ends meet and taking care of herself forever it seems. So, her drive, passion and enthusiasm shines bright. I loved her character and I loved her ability to keep Mr. Alpha man on his toes.
Laundry: There was some delayed gratification, folks. Don't be alarmed and don't you dare let that deter you. Patience grasshopper. These two need some time to build their solid foundation before getting to the good stuff. But once they do? So. Freaking. Hot. He's a cowboy, and obviously I'm partial to them. I had high expectations for his abilities. And he definitely didn't disappoint.
Depth: Abby's character brings a good amount of the story line to the table. Her past, her modesty and her so sweet nature all lead up to some unexpected creepiness. But with drama, comes a night in shining armor to the rescue. And who doesn't love a man who will put his life on the line for his leading lady? I will say that the drama was totally unexpected and I absolutely had a "Well, that escalated quickly" moment. And for those of you who have read my reviews before, you know I adore a book that can surprise me. I loved this quick read and know you guys will too :)

Abigail is a nice, sweet girl who hasn’t had the best of luck on her side. She makes cinnamon rolls and sells them to the local diner, when one day in walks a tall, gorgeous cowboy. She can’t help but stare at him, thinking he’s the most rugged yet beautiful man. But then he opens his mouth and anything she feels towards him disappears quickly and is replaced by annoyance. Leland has been coming in to the diner more frequently, even though it’s completely out of his way, for the delicious cinnamon rolls. He’s a quiet man who keeps to himself and has zero experience with women, so when he finds out the beauty he runs into at the diner is the one who makes the cinnamon rolls, his brash and aggressive behavior irritates her. But they run into each other again and he ends up showing her that even though he’s rough around the edges, he will also take care of and protect what belongs to him. When something terrible happens to Abby, she is quick to realize that through Leland’s strong and commanding demeanor, he has a heart of gold when he does his best to take care of her.
This was an enjoyable insta-love story that was super sweet with a dash of spiciness as Leland is determined to make Abby his forever. Looking forward to the next book!

Abigail is used to life not going the way she planned. She rolls with the punches and keeps moving forward. Unemployed she started to bake cinnamon rolls and other goodies and sell them around town. One day she goes to make her delivery to the local diner and has an encounter with a very attractive cowboy. When he basically insults her, she vows to having nothing to do with him. Leland was attracted to Abigail from the moment he saw her. Unfortunately, talking to anyone, much less a gorgeous woman isn't his strong suit. When she won't give him the time of day, he is determined to make it up to her. Lucky for Leland, fate steps in and gives him a chance to show Abigail just how important she is to him. But will she believe him and reach for that happily ever after?
Elisa Leigh has managed to concentrate the yummy decadent goodness of a cinnamon roll into novella form! Abigail is a sweetie and you want her to get the guy and ride off into the sunset. I enjoyed this story, Leland and Abigail where a whirlwind, and who doesn't love a determined cowboy? The opening scene had me laughing and hooked, I loved how they met and Lelands obsession with her cinnamon buns. This story did jump a bit for me, there was times I was shouting at Leland, "you're moving too fast" but I loved his devotion and determination to make Abigail love him like he loved her, their chemistry was undeniable. Ben gave me the creeps and I was glad when Leland was there for Abigail after her interaction with Ben, I was wondering what Ben would do next? Donna is great and I hope she gets her own HEA, she's such a kind hearted and caring soul. Donna and Abbies friendship was heartwarming and amusing, I'm glad they got along so well. I wish the story was longer and some of the plot more detailed but I did thoroughly enjoy this story and the twists and turns had me gripped from start to finish. The epilogue was a nice round up of the characters stories and made my heart happy to see them doing so well. A heart warming, hot and gripping read.

I really enjoyed this book. It's my first book by this author and I can't wait to see what more she has. This story was sweet and romantic with a touch of angst. You have a sweet female and an alpha male. I really enjoyed the plot and thought it was written really well. I did find one typo. It was just a repeat word where it shouldn't have been. Apart from that it was edited well.
My one complaint.... It was way too easy to find out who our "bad guy" was. When that "thing" happened (sorry, don't want to give away the details) I knew instantly who it was. Actually I knew who was going to cause trouble before the person actually did. So I wasn't at all surprised when we found out who. But, it was still a very good book. I love me a cowboy. An alpha cowboy takes the......cinnamon rolls.

I loved this story so much! Another great hit by author, Elisa Leigh :) I loved Leland, he was swoon-worthy hotness and a teddy bear at the same time and I loved how he treated Abigail. I loved their chemistry together ;) Leland gave Abigail time to accept that she was his and when the intimate and steamy scenes came about, it was definitely worth the wait ;) Abigail was such a sweet and gentle soul and I loved that Leland was the man for her because he was her soul-mate, her protector, her man, the love of her life, the father of future children and her destiny all rolled into one <3 <3
The ending was so beautiful and I loved seeing Leland and Abigail together after years together and their bond is still going strong every day, their love has never wavered, their connection still unbreakable and their beautiful and big family was awesome to see :) <3

Sweet!
Review:
I absolutely loved this book by Elisa Leigh! The characters were so wonderful and their love story so beautiful. I was in the mood for a sweet hero who was still Alpha. Leland was all that and more. Both him and Abigail were lonely hearts and it was so great to see them come together.
There was also enough twists and turns that I could fuel my inner need for drama! I am super excited to see where this series goes moving forward because I need Donna's story!

Leland and Abigail are such a cute couple 💑. They met at Hal's Diner. Abigail supplies fresh cinnamon rolls every morning to the diner and Leland rushed to get one for breakfast. The courtship of Leland and Abigail is different but it works for them! A cute romance, that will leave the reader with a heartwarming feeling.

This was soooo good! It was sweet and everything I wanted. It gave me all the feels, and had a little twist at the end. I loved this book, and will be reading this again and again. It’s just that good.

Leland is in love with Abigail's cinnamon rolls. This is my first book by Elisa Leigh I will be reading more from her. Leland has been on the ranch so long he has problems with talking to Abigail without getting himself into trouble. Great read
