Wrong side of the tracks girl gets with richer boy. Not a favorite but a favorite author, her thrillers are better than this was.

An early category Carla Cassidy with puppets? I was so totally...on board. In the end, though, the book did not live up to its initial promise (that I freely admit I imposed upon it).
