I have no idea why my children like this book. The only reason it's superior to The Wind in the Willows, if only because it's so short. But it lacks all the nuance and characterization that TWitW offers.

Reading it twice now in the past few days, I got the uncanny sense that I was reading vignettes from the life of our current president.
