I do not believe I have ever purchased a “Cliffs Complete” version of cliff notes before and was surprised to find it included the entire play A Midsummer Night’s Dream not just all the insightful and in-depth look at the characters, plot, time & setting. The vocabulary assistance in the margins of the play was extremely helpful with deciphering some of the more antiquated words and phrases. This edition is Shakespeare 101 stop-shopping.

Excellent version of this play, which is a favourite Shakespeare play for me. The language is wonderful. as are the extensive notes. I read along with an audio version of the play. And later watched a movie version from 1999, starring Kevin Kline, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dominic West and Calista Flockhart.

It was fun to read, listen to, and watch this play in the summertime.

Now, if only I could see a live, open-air performance!
Maybe one year I will.

I love Bottom the weaver. Actually, I love all the crazy village actors. This is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. The fairies remind me of what we hope to accomplish in a lifetime (of course they do it in one night) and all ends well. Ahh, to have magic dust...

"What fools these mortals be!"

Cute graphic novel with original text. Great way to introduce kids to Shakespeare. Book includes a synopsis, discussion Qs, and fun facts.
