'The knife in my spoon' is a delicious, twisted, witty thriller. The book written by 'Saniya Inamdar' manages at the same time both to be meta and self aware but also satisfyingly old school.
There's humour, mystery, thrill, youthfulness, college life, twists, turns and friendship enough to make you crave the same kind of friends group. Truly, what's not to love?

Within the few pages I was too engaged with the fun lives of Winay, Paul, Saniya, Shanaya and Zeeshan. The superbly dysfunctional yet perfect group of engineering students whose lives and bonding allows to revisit that first flush of youth and very satisfying journey back to those days. These five friends happy go lucky life turns upside down when Winay face a financial crisis and in desperate need of money. He has no idea how to get a job and manage to study at the same time. Aware of his condition his friends comes to his rescue and advice him to take part in 'Banaega kaun Millionaire' and he reluctantly first but gives in to the advice and that's when the book takes the flip with the remaining memebers of friends group goes to seance, where a spirit informs to that the present PM is going to be killed and these grouo found themselves in these loopholes but what the mystery behind all these?

Instantly intriguing start with humour and youthfulness is perfect to keep reader hook. As the story proceed the humour didn't flank eveb when the plot gets overwrought. And underneath the laughs and furious twist and turns, the author creates a deep layers of social satire with a commendable narration. I found my disappointment in the dialogues which seems more like a ensemble of cheesy Bollywood words and lines than boosting lyrisim the author has aimed for.

'The knife in my spoon' has a sense of glee thats infectious. It's pleasurable and occasionally silly but its consistently fun and that's a great accomplishment.

It rarely happens that I pick a book on the basis of its title. After reading the blurb, I could not figure out the reason behind the title and was too intrigued to unravel this mystery.

The story is about five people who live a fun filled life. What started as a humorous story full of youthful banter soon takes a thrilling turn. The transition was so smooth that one doesn't know when the plunge happened. Full credit to authoress for that.

I myself have been a huge Bollywood Movie freak so I was astonished to see writers' skill-set in not just penning down a story with such entertaining narration but also utilising her filmy knowledge in a unique creative way.

The only point where I feel novella needs improvement is the cover page that could have been much more expressive. But except this shortcoming (not really a flaw though), story has everything and it will suit the needs of all kind of people and ages, irrespective of what genre one prefers.

Red cover has always attracted me. The simplistic red cover of this book attracted me even more so, it's too smooth and title is placed just at the right place. So 5/5 for the title and the beautiful cover.

The one thing which stood out for me other than of course the unique plot was the author's immense knowledge about Bollywood. The title of each and every chapter was apt and you can't actually keep such titles unless you don't know the context in which they were used so kudos to the author for actually amalgamating Bollywood with her fictional world.

The book on the face of it, as in through the initial few chapters gives an idea about it being a normal storyline of friends in a college, enjoying and overcoming normal tensions but as the plot develops the book completely changes its nature, the book makes a very smooth transition from being a humorous book to a thriller read.

I'd suggest all of you to read the book, it's an honest attempt by the author to try something new and I think the author has been more or less successful in doing so.

For me it's a 4 🌟 read.

This is a story of five friends, who are available for each other every time, in every ups and downs. Everything was going well until a incident changed their life upside down.
I really loved it how the author made small chapters in the book. The story is really engaging and the narration is really good, the readers could read the book in one go.
I loved it, how the author narrated the whole story in simple language. The author had used some Hindi words and its really made the content more unique and good one.
The cover of the book is really simple yet beautiful.
Overall, a good one!

The Knife In My Spoon as the title suggests is a murder mystery on a humorous note. The story is about five best friends, Paul, Winay, Sania, Zeeshan and Shanaya. All are doing engineering and enjoy life to the core. Winay faces some financial crisis and is in need for rupees 80 lacs. The narration and characterization is amazing giving flow to the plot till the end.

The perfect usage of words creates the thrill of all the twist and turns.

The use of Hindi words made the story more unique.

The story develops brilliantly in a cinematic way creating enough of thriller and suspense.

The writing style and the use of phrases is exceptional.

The book is divided into 14 chapters and each chapter's title is a popular dialogue from Bollywood movies.

This story is about five close-knit Engineering students (Shanaya, Saniya, Paul, Zeeshan and Winay) and how they help each other when one among them (Winay) is in trouble. ⁣
The main attraction in this book is that the characters are loosely based on F.R.I.E.N.D.S, which almost everyone loves. ⁣

✨🎩✨⁣
My views:⁣
🔸One thing I liked and disliked about this book is its vocabulary. At certain points the vocabulary was well used and catchy even, but at some points I felt like unnecessary words were used to describe a simple thing or a feeling. Especially in the first half of the book. ⁣

🔸By second half, I was already invested in the story and couldn’t find that many flaws in the vocabulary.⁣

🔸Another thing I enjoyed in this book is the arguments between Saniya and Zeeshan, which were indeed entertaining and informative. Their knowledge shows the author's extensive knowledge, who has done a thorough research, and certain dialogues by Zeeshan were really good but one or two did make me cringe a little bit. ⁣

🔸Also, there were many phrases and dialogues I liked and thanks to the author, now I know the difference between Aye Captain and Aye Aye Captain. ⁣

🔸Overall, the story is good but the execution could have been better.⁣

🔸To conclude, I recommend this book to beginners, who have an interest in murder mystery, and also enjoy comedy with some famous Bollywood dialogues.⁣

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐

Title - The knife in my Spoon
Author - Saniya Inamdar

It was a pretty interesting read for me.

The way author has described the characters of Winay, Zeshan, Shanaya, Paul and Saniya is amazing.

Their conversations were all beautifully portrayed.

And then, author's bollywood knowledge and it's touch in this book, gives it an amazing bollywood scent.

All the chapter's names are amazing and the content in them has wonderfully served their respective title's.

Personally, my favourite one was " Zamane ne use Kallu se Kaliya Bana diya".

Author's grip on these magical words with a great vocabulary is appreciable.

This is a short book with good and fast narration, the reader can complete in one read. The story is about 5 best friends where they are living their lives happily and one incident made the things upside down. Seems like you already watched the movie in this storyline, right? Yes, there are many movies with the same storyline. But this is with thriller and humor. The incident is nothing but murder as the title says itself. But who was murdered? Who did that murder? To know more grab the book

The title is apt for the story.
The narration and usage of vocabulary are good.
The cover could be better, this is so simple and just normal text on a red background.
The student’s life and characters are well developed. Loved it
Enjoyed reading the book

A book full of general knowledge, vocabulary, humor and sarcasm. This is a journey of five engineer student. Each character have different talents of their own. Saniya, Winay, Zeeshan, Shanaya and paul all five friends enjoy spending time among themselves and distribute their new found knowledge. .
.
The story is like this that one the friend Winay gets in trouble and he needs 80 lakhs to save his home. His friend Shanaya suggests him to take part in BKM. From then onwards he start working hard but also starts missing his classes. Then the other four friends tried to help him with performing a seance and try to know the questions. While performing that they get to know one more thing. That someone is going to be murdered. Will they be able to help their friend Winay? Will they be able to save the one who is going to be murdered. Do read the book in order to know the answer?
.
.
Whenever anyone says something wrong Saniya is ready to correct and import the GK of that wrong thing. Zeeshan on the other hand, is always pulling her leg on sharing her knowledge and showing off. And i enjoyed the arguments between Saniya and Zeeshan. .
.
Author has extensive knowledge of everything. The GK used in this book is amazing. The use of vocabulary is a little bit extra at some point of time. But it was a good thrilling read. And i love the part of every chapter starting with a most famous bollywood dialogues.

Book : Knife in a Spoon.
Author : Saniya Inamdar.

Review :
Cover of the book is simple but I found the title a bit whacky. The title made me grow an interest to pick and read this one.
This book is about 5 engineering students who are very good friends and they know in and out about everyone.
Each character is given an individuality and importance.
Let me take you to the characters first :

Saniya : A person who is much into grasping and gaining knowledge about everything that she reads and using that in her conversations.
Shanaya : A girl interested much into Astrology.
Zeeshan : A typical bollywood fan.
Winay : Topper of the college with maturity talks.
Paul : A mess with Spoonerism.
Coming to the plot of the book,. Winay is under a situation where he is about to lose his house and an ice cream parlor which is the only source of income. He bunks college in search of job and this is unaware by his friends. All of sudden, the entire group forces him to speak and he narrates the entire scene. There was a show running called "BKM ". I. E. Banega Kaun Millionaire.
Shanaya suggested Winay to participate and in case luck and fortune favours he can save his house. Winay was not on a verge to listen but then thinks to at least give it a try. To help his friend Winay rest of the group decides to conduct a seance wherein they will come to know about the BKM call and to some questions. But what happens is total a shock, they come to know that their PM is going to be dead and this is the question that will be coming in BKM. Now what to do? How to tell this to anyone? Will they listen? What will Winay feel when he will come to know that for him his friends have done a seance? In case if they tell anyone about that PM is going to be dead soon, who is going to take a note?
I am leaving all the questions unanswered here, I want you guys to read this and find out the answers yourself.
Language usage is very high, a high level of vocabulary, being a regular reader I had to sit with a dictionary to know the meanings, but yes of course to mention it will increase your vocabulary. Just a suggestion to the author write down the meanings at the end of the book. Rest all is good, Narration is quite good that it will keep you hooked till the end and imagine what will happen now.

Summary: The story starts with five college friends – Winay, Saniya, Shanaya, Paul, and Zeeshan. These famous five are the best of friends. They all come from different backgrounds and have different qualities. The thing that ties them together is the unconditional love for each other. Everything was going well until Winay faces a financial challenge. Her friends come up with this idea to make him go to BKM (Banega Kaun Millionaire). When Winay gets selected for the final round they decide to call a spirit to know the future of Winay in the competition. There they are pre-informed about a shocking incident by the spirit that will in the course change the history of the nation. How will they react after knowing the piece of information?

My Take: The knife in my spoon by Saniya Inamdar is a mixture of comedy with a thriller. There are several genres hovering throughout the book. It is really difficult to categorize this book into one special genre. The language was lucid and easy.

The most interesting thing about the book is its title. The name is very unusual and it will intrigue you to dive into the book. The cover as it is seen in my post is an abstract one. You can depict anything you want. I wanted the cover to be a little more interesting to match the name.

As I have mentioned the book has so many components that it is really difficult to portray everything in a balanced way. The banter portions between the friends got really annoying at times. I felt it was overstretched. As a result the main part of the book that is their dilemma and confusion portion is not shown properly. The ending was very abrupt. The characterization could have been better. Overall, I felt the book had so much potentiality to shine but it failed at certain parameters.

The friendship among the five is portrayed really well. The way they were for each other was a treat to read. Each chapter starts with a famous Bollywood song that uplifted my mood whenever I saw them. Last but not the least my GK certainly improved after reading the book.

This was a 3 star read for me.

Book review :
Book has the story of 5 friends....besties namely Saniya,Shanaya,Zeeshan,Winay,Paul. * Saniya - reader and uses knowledge in her conversation.
* Shanaya - Astrology lover
* Zeeshan - Bolywood fan
* Winay - Topper....much mature than others
* Paul - total mess
They are Engineering students. They always share each and every piece of happenings with each other. So,they came to know about the financial crises of Winay.....he needed 80 lakhs for saving his house and ice-cream parlour, the only source of income for his family. He being good in studies, bunk classes in search of job.To solve his problem Shanaya suggested him about a running show BKM(Banega Kaun Millionare).
They wanted to help Winay at any cost so uses spirit board to know all the answers for the show. The spirit told all the answers along with a shocking news of PM going to be dead soon.

Now,this news left them in trauma and now many questions arises....what will happen next???Will they inform anybody???How will the make others believe that spirit informed about the murder???Will they be able to save PM???
The biggest question is that the spirit's information was right or wrong??? To answer all your quest please please do read it.

It's such a sarcastic, hilarious murder suspense story....first time in my reading life.

Author has used hindi most frequently....even 14 chapter's name are in hindi dialogues such as....# yeh dosti hum nahi chodenge
# mere pas Ma hai,Ma
# Zamane ne use kallu se kaliya bna diya.

It has glimpses of series FRIENDS.

Language used is easy enough to understand the comedy and sarcastic conversations.

Just love it and stick to the seat to finish it at once.

Superb work.....cover page should have something to link with the book story....otherwise all good👍
Recommended to all.

Happy reading guys!!!

🔹The Knife In My Spoon by Saniya Inamdar🔹
.
.
.
🔹The knife in my spoon is a story of 5 engineering students- Zeeshan a cinematic buff; Paul a religious, sweet and seemly dildar person; Saniya and Shanaya the beauty and brains of the group with Saniya leaving no stone unturned to show her vast knowledge and intelligence. And Shanaya even with all the wealth and riches around her, seemed to be the most humble person, with the desire to be a psychic and possessing a deep knowledge of astronomy and different signs. Lastly, Winay the leader of the group and also its heart and soul who is equally intelligent and charming and knows how to win people's hearts.
.
.
.
🔹The group seems quite unusual but has "distinct idiosyncrasies where each friend’s peculiarity seemed a quirk to the other" kind.
Coming to the story of the book, the main protagonist Winay faces a financial situation and so participates in Banega Kaun Millionaire with pressure from his friends. Just when I thought that the story will continue as Winay's journey through the show, the book throws a surprise at the readers - a murder. Now this truly changes the story and grips the readers to the end of it.
.
.
.
🔹The book is mainly centered around friendship and the bond these five students share. The constant frequent sarcasms of Zeeshan and Sinaya are the most entertaining throughout the book. The book could have better framed sentences. All the characters are unique and share their equal spotlight in the book. Love how every chapter is named after a particular Bollywood dialogue and many such dialogues throughout the story. The book is quite short and can be finished in one sitting, and is filled with sarcasm, humor and mystery. A quite thrilling delight for the readers.

➡️Favorite quote- All the Bollywood dialogues references throughout the book

The knife in my spoon
By - SANIYA INAMDAR
Format – Kindle Edition/ Paperback also available
Print Length – 124 Pages
My Ratings – 4.7/5

✏️ This story is about five close-knit engineering students (Shanaya, Saniya, Paul, Zeeshan and Winay) and how they support each other when one of them (Winay) is in trouble. All of them were college friends and were having a ball. Suddenly one of the friend Winay faced some financial issues and as all the friends were together in every situation so they asked Winay to participate in Banega Kaun Millionaire.

✏️ The story was running smooth but apart from this, there was another problem in this novel, which is that he got some news from the enigmatic spirit that the PM is going to be killed soon. This was a page turner and made the plot full of suspense. Go grab yours copy of the book to know what happens further.

✏️ The bond between the five is well represented. It was a pleasure to read the way they were with each other. Every chapter begins with a popular Bollywood song that raised my mood whenever I saw it. And the tremendous expertise of the Author in the field makes it incredible.

✏️ There's humour, suspense, enthusiasm, youthfulness, college life, twists, turns and fellowship enough to make you want the same kind of group of friends.

✏️ Title is really Intriguing and book cover was simple, I think it could be more attractive.

✏️ Language was simple and there was a rich use of Vocabulary. Writing style was pretty good and the story was normal paced.

✏️ The biggest appeal in this novel is that the characters are closely modelled on F.R.I.E.N.D.S, which almost everybody likes.

✏️ Overall, it was an incredible read and I would like to recommend this book to everyone out there as this book is a great mix of fun, suspense, etc. which makes it worth a read.

Happy Reading😊

The Knife in my spoon revolves around five friends named Paul, Zeeshan ,Winay, Saniya and Shanaya, who were studying engineering, living their life to the fullest, enjoying every moment of their college lives. They were bestest friends of each other, who would stand by each other in their toughest times. All were very different from each other be it in personalities, studies but that never affected their friendship. One fine day, Winay gets to know that his family is going through financial difficulties and he is in need of money. Still studying it was difficult for him to get a job and the amount was too high to be paid. His friends suggest him to take part in 'BKM' competition. Winay takes part in it and starts his preparation. On another day, his friends go for a seance, where a spirit informs that the present PM is going to be killed. These people are thrown into tough situations.

Don't judge a book by its cover, this saying goes perfectly for this book. I thought that this would be a thriller but didn't accept it to turn out as a hilarious thriller. Plot was so fast paced , with suspense maintained till the end. Starting from the title of each chapter to bollywood dialogues, the touch of Bollywood to the story added an extra spice to the book, which even the author had blended properly. All five characters are narrated very well, though they were poles apart, but synchronisation, friendship between them was amazing. Short and crisp chapters didn't make it a dull and boring read. Humour and thrill was combined aptly.Title is very apt to book. Cover can be made more attractive. It was an easy breezy and light read full of laughter riot. Well, if you're looking for a light read this hilarious thriller you should not miss !!

Book: The Knife in My Spoon
Author: Saniya Inamdar
Publisher: Kindle
Review-
A story of friends and friendship, I love these type of stories 💙, and being a thriller makes it more interesting and a little fantasy. But there is more to the book than just this, it’s unique because despite being a good thriller it is quite hilarious.

This is about 5 friends, who all are engineers, Paul, Winay, Saniya, Zeeshan and Shanaya. Each character is unique and are enjoying their life to the fullest. But every now and then we have to face some difficult situations…financial, emotional, stress etc. etc. But we’re lucky to have some very close friends to help us with it.

One of our protagonist, Winay, is under same situation. He is under some financial crisis and requires 80 Lac to solve this crisis. And he got some news from mysterious spirit that PM is going to be murdered. I’ll be avoiding spoilers here 🤫.

The plot has got some Bollywood touch to it and the immense knowledge of author in the field makes it even amazing. The author worked on a very good plot creating a thriller with the hilarious touch. Her writing style is good with a lucid language. Great Work!

I was intrigued by the moment I saw the title of this book but I wasn't able to comprehend it's meaning. So I immediately picked up this book and started reading. And I'm so glad I decided to read this book.

This is the story of five fun-loving friends who loved each other so much that they can go to any extent for other's happiness. When Winay suffered the financial crunch his friends made him register for a game show Banega Kaun Millionaire and are determined to help him win.

They decide to conduct a seance to find out how much money he would win but their plan backfired as the information they got was more than they bargained for. They got to know through the process that the P.M will be murdered.

What will be their next plan of action?
Will they save the P.M?
Will they stay silent and let the P.M be murdered?
How does this incident affect their lives?

I loved everything about this story. Each of the 5 friends is unique and special in their own way. Be it the walking library Saniya, the movie fanatic Zeeshan everybody has a different and equally entertaining character.

The story offered as much thrill as it had humour. I was smiling throughout the book and I was so into it that I finished the book in one sitting. The title of each chapter chosen from the movie dialogues is just too good. Try language is very simple and lucid and the story is narrated brilliantly. It will for sure keep the readers hooked till the end.

This book can be read and enjoyed by anyone with any kind of genre preference and I strongly recommend this book. Can't wait to read the author's next book.

FAB - BOOK REVIEW OF "The Knife in my Spoon" by Saniya Inamdar

Genre - Fiction(Thriller)

Rating - 4.5/5
Let's start with the title, which made me intrigued, shook, and confused because I've never thought of a title like this. BELIEVE ME NEVER. I firmly believe that a title should connect to the story, then it will make sense for the readers, and yes, the title really made sense. You will get to know everything about it only when you read the book.
.
This book will let you know about 5 friends living beautiful and fun lives: Winay, Paul, Saniya, Shanaya, and Zeeshan. These 5 friends who are into engineering live their lives so happily, cherishing every moment in their lives. But as we all know, life is not a cakewalk, so one of their friends, Winay, was in a financial crisis. He needs 80 lakh rupees to live his life happily again. He hasn't found a way to get 80 lakh rupees, so he decided to participate in a Quiz show. Something mysterious and thrilling happened in the book. He will get to know that the Prime Minister is going to be murdered soon.
.
This book is beautifully written about friendship and the value of it. The author has beautifully written about all the characters, and the way she crafted all of their bonds is lovely. The writing is lucid. This book will keep you hooked till the end.
But I felt the cover page can be a little more attractive, not an issue, because the story is incredible.

We follow 5 friends who are studying engineering ( Saniya, Winay, Paul ,Shanaya and Zeeshan). They are going through an amazing time when suddenly Winay out of the blue falls into a financial crisis. His friends advise him to participate in a contest called Banega Kaun Millionaire in order to come out of his financial crunch. Initially he is hesitant and let's the idea slide but over the time he becomes excited about it and his over enthusiasm starts taking a toll on his studies. In order to help him again the group conducts a seance to find out what questions will come in the contest and what they find is extremely disturbing as someone of very importance is going to be murdered. Now the group has to buckle and do something about their situation.
The book's premise was very fascinating as is the title. The language is easy and lucid. Sometimes it was seeming as if there were episodes which were unnecessarily stretched and could have been executed in a way more concise and crisp manner. The over all appeal is nice but the execution could have been better. The twists and ending needed to be more solid. Initially it took me a lot of time to get into the book but later the pace picked up. The friendship aspect was very well portrayed so kudos for that. There were a lot of dialogues from movies which were used and I barely recognized a few so it was difficult for me to catch up but if you're a movie buff you may find it very amusing, like Chapter 10 is Kitne Aadmi the? And Chapter 13 was Mere pass Ma hain Ma. The characters were good. It was a breezy read.

Knife in my spoon by author Sania Inamdar is a story based on the life of Winay and his college friends. Story involves the bad economic condition of Winay due to loss of court case where he loses his home and the parlour. Story tells about the ways his friends try to help him in finding a way to get the money to get his house back. Book tells about the collective efforts made by his friends and Winay himself to win a game show to win money so that the financial help can be provided to him. Meanwhile they land up in involving a spirit or ghost to get help for his friends to get him success in the game show. But they end up finding something serious related to Prime Ministers murder from the spirit. The story here takes turn from here and all of them get involved in finding a way to save PM's life. Story ends with saving the life of PM, on a happy note.
The book is short but the story takes too many turns. First 3 chapters of book may make you feel bored but the rest parts makes the story sensible. Book uses a lot of dialogues and movie names that a movie lover can only understand. I am not one of them so did not got enough sense of this thing. Author has tried to make the conversation of the friends bit lengthy. I feel story did not concluded well as the idea of game show was lost somewhere.
The cover of book is good. The language involves a few tough words to get through.
Overall the book tells a short story in a lucid way.

The Knife In My Spoon is Saniya Imandar’s second book. She was born in Kolkata and completed her schooling from Bishop Westcott Girl's High School, Ranchi; and St Joseph's Convent, Nagpur. She graduated from S.F.S College, Nagpur and won the Hiralal J. Kania Award for being the University Topper in History.

The book revolves around the lives of five friends, who are there for each other through thick and thin.
The story follows the lives of five very different people, who are nonetheless as thick as thieves.
The story unfolds through interesting conversations among the characters, and unforeseen incidents.
Some interesting highlights of the book include the author’s portrayal of her deep knowledge of Bollywood, which is highlighted throughout the book in various ways. Moreover, the chapters with their beguiling names catch one’s attention immediately.
A witty, nail biting thriller, with tongue-in-cheek humour keep the readers rivetted till the end.
A financial crisis, a threat to the life of a Prime Minister, the organizing of a mega game show…what could possibly tie together these seemingly unrelated, even bizarre events?
And, what does the title of the book even mean?!

REVIEW:- THE KNIFE IN MY SPOON
AUTHOR:- SANIYA INAMDAR

This book is an incredible story on friendship. I loved the story because it's not as same as other friendship stories I've read before. It has it's own uniqueness to be one.

The protagonist's of this story is 5 friends named Paul, Winay, Saniya, Zeeshan and Shanaya. They all are very close friends But one day....
Winay got the news that PM is going to be murdered..... after that everything would be changed
All friends are living their life but they all should be help to each other. Are they able to help their friend Vinay? For knowing you guys have to find the answers by yourself.

The names of the chapters of book with their Bollywood dialogues accent catches one's attention immediately for sure.

The plot and the Narration of the story is well described by the author for sure. I personally didn't like the cover of the book that much, for me it's very dull and simple.
The title of the book is surely apt. and the eye catcher one for sure. But firstly from the title I couldn't able to get what was in the book also few chapters of the book feels totally bored for me.

But overall it's a light and a decent read.

Book Name- The Knife In My Spoon
Author- Saniya Inamdar
Review- The Knife In My Spoon is a blend of comedy, thriller and suspense. The story line revolves around 5 friends, Paul, Sania, Zeeshan, Shanaya and Winay. All of them are engineers and the book features their friendship which is true in sense. All the characters are well built and the crisis they go through, the difficulties they face in life are described well and they go well with the plot and many can relate to the difficulties they face in life as they are realistic in nature and doesn’t have exaggeration in it. Out of all the 5 friends Winay faces financial crisis and is in need of money and gets into something which can make him rich. When we have good support of friends we tend to share things with them and together we reach to a solution and that thing is beautifully portrayed in this book. But there comes a murder mystery in the scene which turns the table completely. The best part of the book is has a great concept full of thrill but it has a sprinkle of comedy in it which makes it a complete package of great read. The title of the book is very interesting and hints towards the thrilling suspense which lies in the book.

The knife in my spoon is a story of 5 engineering students Shanaya, Saniya, Paul, Zeeshan and Winay. They all share a very good friendship bond. One day it so happens that Winay, the protagonist, finds himself in some financial troubles. In order to solve his financial problem his friend tells him to participate in BKM (banega Kaun millionaire). He along with his friends resorts to the spirit board to know the questions of BKM. Everything is going smooth till they are told that someone is going to be murdered.
Read the book to know what happens next

#myreview The title was intriguing enough for me to read the ebook. The story starts with friendly banters among the friends which I loved reading. The healthy arguments between the friends, the witty dialogues and one liners makes it altogether more interesting. The author has a way with the words and the research done by her is commendable. I got to know so many things from this book. It helped to increase my GK.
It's a super mix of thrill and humor. The characters and the plot are quite engaging. The language and vocabulary used is excellent.
Altogether it's a light read.

The Knife in My Spoon is a story of 5 friends namely, Shanaya, Saniya, Zeeshan, Winay and Paul. They are just a fun loving bunch of engineering students with personalities, as diverse as they can be!

It seems like any other fun friendship story, till Winay faces a financial crunch and is in need of a huge sum of 80 lakh Rupees. This leads into his participation in the Quiz Show BKM!

Overcome by Nervousness and Excitement, his four friends decide to set up a seance so as to know Winay's impending fate. The seance turns interesting when the spirit gives away that the PM stands to be murdered!

Though in the start, I felt it to be a regular humourous book, it turned out to be a gripping story after the first half.
The chapters are short making it an easy read. Also, there are a lot of Film references and I totally loved them!

I couldn't guess what was in store for me from the title, but it proved to be totally apt for the book!
This is an amazing book which you can finish in a couple of sittings!
Lessening half a star because the First few chapters of the book didn't appeal me much!
