I loved this book, because it made me laugh! It made me cry! It inspired me to call all my children and tell them I love them. This book would be especially dear to folks who love Oregon. Or for people who love family. Or for people who love people. The book is made up of short articles that Mr. Welch has written for the Eugene Register Guard. Bob Welch is a wonderful author.

Have met the author before as he is a personal friend/colleague of my brother. Good read for any Oregonian but strongly recommend his earlier book American Nightingale.
