By the Australian photographer known for her photographs of babies. In this alphabet book she poses the babies in ways to depict each letter—three babies in carrot suits with carrot top hats represent ‘C,’ a baby posed in a jug for ‘J,’ a baby dressed as a bird in a nest for ‘N’ and so on. For fans of her work, you’ll love this book. Personally, I find in general that her photographs are too contrived, though they work well for this purpose and since I’m always looking for new ideas in ABC books, I’ll give her 4 stars.
