Read this in preparation for an upcoming trip and found some really helpful info.
I borrowed the book on Libby and they must have an older copy as some of the info is 13 years old which is not ideal.

Any self-respecting traveller will at least acknowledge the Lonely Planet series of guides. Others, like me, devour them. I have plans to travel to Europe in late 2010 and so this is the appetiser to my information gathering. Where to go? What to do? Where to stay? The guide should help me with that (I hope!). In terms of contect it's what you'd expect from LP - facts, somewhat quirky at times, always informative.

An okay travel guide. I bought this for a trip to Austria and Germany and the big drawback was they had a limited amount of sights listed in each town.
