Dan Roman rushes to the aid of an old Vietnam friend whose nephew and his girlfriend have been murdered in an act that seems to continue a century of small-town Texas violence
Librarian note: Dates taken from the Find a Grave website for a Hardie Edward Mathis who died in 1988. There are six works published under the Edward Mathis name between 1988 and 1992 though.
This was a good story. It reminded me of John MacDonald, Travis McGee. The heroic, philosophical bent of the hero and the surprise killer in the end. I like it and I recommend it to Adults especially 50 years or older.
