Rate this book
The Bronze Knights have defeated the Master of Sanctuary and restored Athena to the helm of Knighthood. Now their adventure truly begins! Gods now walk the earth in human form, and not all of them are benevolent. Princess Sienna discovers this when she meets Julian Solo, who claims to be Poseidon, god of the seas. Julian believes that Sienna, the incarnation of the goddess Athena, is destined to be his bride. And his plans for their future together include a world cleansed of the human race...

To save the world from Poseidon's wrath, Athena makes a grim bargain, sacrificing herself for the good of humanity. Now only the purest of heroes can save her life and stop Poseidon from flooding the world. Seiya, Hyôga, Shiryû, Ikki and Shun must once again don their Cloths and fight in Athena's name!

The Poseidon Arc begins! It seems to mirror the structure of the Gold Saints Arc, with Athena in danger and the Bronzes having to face a gauntlet of bosses. There are only seven Generals instead of twelve, though.

The Bronzes also get new Cloths made of Gold Saints' blood! (I'm not good at telling the differences between versions of Cloths...)

Kurumada seems to have improved his art, at least with more variety in attack poses. Baian's God's Breath looks more unique than all the uppercut attacks we've seen before.

****

Taurus Aldebaran vs. Siren Sorento
Bronze Saints vs. Mariner jobbers
Seiya vs. Seahorse Baian

****

The chick Tethys who gives the Trident to Julian has some thick thighs and hips...!

The fairies in Sorento's Symphony of Death also have nice bodies...! Kurumada is getting better at (hetero) fanservice!

Tethys continues to be hot as fuck throughout the volume...!

the book is great. Seiya fought one of the 7 generals! He defeated Sea Horse Brian who wis a General for Posiedon, the god of the seas. he is Julian Solo. Athena sacrificed herself to stop the attack of rain until she dies. Even with Sea Horse Brian's ultimate move, the gods breath, Seiya wins. He elavates his cosmo to a gold knight and defeats Sea Horse Brian. Then he uses the Libra gold cloth to destroy the pillar. 6 more to go!

En su momento me aburrió la Saga de Poseidón pero creo que vista en retrospectiva tenía lo suyo, aunque quizás quedó un poco resumida en el anime y relativamente estirada en el manga.
