T. Torrest is a romance and chick-lit author from the U.S.; her alter ego writes eroticomedy under the name T. Torrid. Her stories are geared toward readers of any age that know how to enjoy a good laugh and a dreamy romance.
Ms. Torrest was a child of the eighties, but has since traded in her Rubik's cube for a laptop and her Catholic school uniform for a comfy pair of yoga pants. She's a pop-culture junkie, a movie aficionado, and an enthusiast of talking about herself in the third person. A lifelong Jersey girl, she currently resides there with her husband and two sons.
She also really digs it when she hears from readers, and is known to use words like "dig" in a non-sarcastic way. You can find out more about her books at her website: www.ttorrest.com
She also LOVES to get friend requests on goodreads and facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/TTorres... and personal messages from readers via email ttorrest@optonline.net.
This was solid gold entertainment. I gave this 5 stars for its ridiculous, over-the-top, laugh out loud until I couldn't breathe, entertainment factor. It is obvious that the author wrote this one for fun, and it seems like it is meant to be enjoyed tongue in cheek! If you are looking for a quick, dirty read that is light on the plot, with a heck of a lot of humor, then download this one today.
Cute. I didn’t realize I had read this years ago as part of another book. Cute and predictable but it’s just scratches the itch for a short and sexy read.
Standalone. A short, funny and hot read this was the perfect bitesize book to read while spending a couple of hours lounging in the garden getting some sun (bonus the blossoming sunburn hid my blushes lol). Being a novella there wasn't much time to develop the main characters but what you do know makes them likeable....although it did take me a bit longer to warm up to Jesse.
