War brewing in the city and corruption eating it from the inside out is there a chance for loyal officers to even fight the crime when their system is against it. Crusher is on the move and he is reluctant to put everyone down before they can even utter a syllable of protest. Everett and Vania find it difficult to fight the dark gang lord who has no letter of mercy inscribed in her heart. Crusher is all about money, loyalty and more money and everyone who comes in between is just one more tombstone in the dilapidated Ohio Cemetery.
This is a cop drama that consists of brutal gang wars, and corruption writhing from the heart of the police force and it is all about the thrill of will you let to see another day. I like the pace it goes through, even though it is the second in the series yet I don't find it too difficult to grasp. If you have read the Ohio 10 I that is great but even if you hadn't it will not harm your experience. I have been a great fan of Robin Cook's books. Well while he is always renowned for his staggering good medical thriller, he also gave some best sellers in Crime from the Laury Montgomery series and some very good ones in Lawful thrillers. I can relate this book to some of those which I have read and that is great because you don't really find good ones like those nowadays.
I have not read the first part so I will have to pick that up soon too just to check if the timelines are secured and how well it does in continuance. If being judged as being individual is on the question, I find this book engaging and the details lucid enough for you to keep an active imagination. Plus I like dark books so that's a plus.
