I found this fascinating in the earlier chapters. And while I feel it did lose steam at parts it was a decent one time read. I would personally have liked more dialogue with death towards the end. But I did enjoy how the book took its time to release why he was such a bitter person. I loved that it concentrated more on events that shape the main character or his journey rather than following any timeline.
If you're looking for something not overly deep, long winded then I recommend. The message is clear and the writer did in my opinion a good job to narrate it.

Spiral of emotions in this fast-paced adventure
Highly recommend this book.
Following the downward spiral of the protaganist Jong Sup has left me on the edge of my seat. The pace at which the situation changes throughout the book was mind-boggling at times.
You will bond with the characters that Jong-sup meets along the way. Most of them will change the way you think about this main character as he struggles to find the meaning of life and death.
Highly recommend this book.
