Rate this book
The little cutie next door is spying on me. She watches me when I exercise. She watches me when I use my hot tub and when I take a lover into it. It's clearly a crush-and I like it. Those bright, longing eyes of hers turn me on. They make me want to show her that some things are much more fun to do than watch. There's just one problem-if she's been watching me, she may have seen too much. I'm a problem-solver for my uncle Ezio, the local mob boss. I leave at odd hours. I keep odd company. One day, she may figure it out. And if that happens, I have to make sure she's already too attached to me to give me up to the cops. But there's a simple solution. The little lady has a crush. She wants me to show her what it's all about in bed. And with my secrecy at stake, I have to why not give her what she wants?

I am really not much into a romance involving mafia theme. I might have avoided reading this if I found out in advance what the story was about. Still, I started the book and didn't put it down. The story is fairly simple and short, but interesting. Although I didn't connect with either characters, I still liked them and wanted their story to finish. Short time investment and pretty good return on enjoyment.

I got this book in exchange for a voluntary review. Tina has had a rough life whenshe inherits her grandmother's brownstone. She meets Jimmy, her next door neighbor. The author makes it real, letting the reader know Tina's background in relation to Jimmy's. The book really makes the term, "monster" up for discussion.

Horrible and utterly ridiculous. The plot was stupid. It was a waste of my time when I could have been reading something else. I never end a relationship with an author after one book so I’ll give her one more try but it will be a free read.

Excellent read, really makes you wonder who you’re neighbors are and what goes on behind those shrubs. One sexy Italian and on super shy red head both have their own issues and in the end they come to their own understanding. Love this book.

Good short read. You have mafia bad boy and a shy scared with a bad past girl. Can they meet and talk? Can they accept each others past? I received an arc copy for my honest review.

Good story but way to short a lot more could be added to it to make a full novel.

This was a fun, simple story with strangers becoming lovers and characters dealing with their past and present situations. I enjoyed the quick story, but didn't feel much of a connection to Tina or Jimmy.
