Sometimes I wonder what my hockey career is worth. Blood, sweat, and tears, sure. But losing Ash? I can't.
I shouldn't ask this of her. To ignore the rumors. To let go of the scandal. To accept the spotlight. To give up her dreams so I can chase mine.
Balancing it all, though? Well, that's a different sort of torture. I have no idea how long I can hold on without my past catching up to us. And when it does? Well, Ash deserves better than a screw up like me.
Kelsie is a sucker for a love story with all the feels. When she's not chasing words for her next book, you will probably find her reading or, more likely, hanging out with her husband and playing with her three kiddos who love to drive her crazy.
She adores photography, baking, her yorkie, Bob, and her devon rex, Mara. And now that she's actively pursuing her writing dreams, she's set her sights on someday finding the self-discipline to not binge-watch an entire series on Netflix in one sitting.
Okay so liked this book but it felt a little all over the place. I felt like this book should have been after Mia’s book because it felt like we were missing so much from her story. I feel like this book was kind of unnecessary and made me fall out of love with some of the characters. I feel that since there were so many POVs you can’t really get a good feel for the characters like you could in the other books.

This book was an absolute waste. I wanted Mia’s story but no we get some BS story about the woman colt hooked up with after his dad died. This story added nothing to the series and just pissed me off. Colt didn’t need a baby mama with a 40 yr old fling. Ash didn’t deserve the bs. Oh and let’s not forget the family tree at the end that shows Mia and Henry end up together with kids. What’s the point of reading their book when it comes out now?

I absolutely love this book. This story deals with Colt and Ashlyn, Mia, Blakely, Kate, Colt, Theo, Macklin all have chapters. You get to see further in their lives. You get all the drama with Colt and Ashlyns relationship and the things they have to navigate. I didn't want to put this book down at all. I can't wait till the next book in this series.
ARE YOU SHITTING ME?!?! worst fucking plot twist ever. y’all know i hate pregnancy tropes BUT THIS ONE???? fucking horrible. shit man, it ruined ashlyn and colt’s story in my humble opinion.

I’m sorry but this book didn’t need to be written. It has no buisness being in the series. It was just so hard to read, and just all over the place. If I DNF’d books, this would’ve been one I would have definitely not finished. The situation with Ash and Colt was super disappointing, and I hated it so much. Someone said it made their relationship look so weak, and I couldn’t agree more. It annoys me just thinking about it. Blake and Theo, messy and kinda irrelevant. Kate and Mac felt like they were moving fast, but I kinda enjoyed their parts of the book (they honestly carried the whole book tbh). Then there’s just Mia.
I loved Colt and Ash’s story. But this book ruined their love story for me. Ash was put thru way too much throughout the course of their relationship. Had the kid not ended up being Colts I would have been maybe okay. But his ex fling was a married 40 year old. What the hell? Hated this.

leave my girl ash alone, she's been through too much omg. but seriously how is every single person in this book getting engaged and having kids? they are all fresh out of college (or still in college). like hello? anywho only one more book until i'm done with this series!
✨This book is written as a sequel to the Don’t Let Me series. I HIGHLY encourage you to go read the first three novels prior to reading Let Me Love You✨
In this sequel we follow all our previous couples: Ash and Colt, Theo and Blake, Mack and Kate. We also get a brief glimpse into Mia’s future to set the scene for Don’t Let Me Down just like all of the previous books in this standalone series have done.
I will say when I first read the chapters list I was slightly intimidated by the amount of perspectives we would be reading through but, yet again, Kelsie Rae pulled this off so effortlessly. It was a seamless transition between characters without a gap between perspectives.
Colt and Ash are faced with a huge life choice that threatens the perfect life they have created for themselves and honestly is an issue that, in this day and age, is very prevalent.
We follow Blakey as she is the only remaining member of the group still left in her last year of college as everyone else has already graduated.
We learn more about Mia’s struggles after the aftermath of Shorty’s awful choice to out her real identity tied to her Only Fans account. This seems to be another prevalent topic that many people are struggling with post pandemic as they try to return to the mainstream workforce.
In the end we get a glimpse into everyone’s future (including a little of Mia) which is the closure so many of us crave with interconnected stand-alone novels. The family trees at the end are such a fun and unique addition too!
Well done Kelsie on yet another amazing book! I can’t wait for Mia’s story in Don’t Let Me Down!
Ashlyn was done dirty in this book. Honesty they could’ve used this opportunity to conclude the beef between Logan and the gang. Instead they dump a baby and baby Mama. To make it worse. All the characters are mentioned in the epilogue but Ashlyn. Like she didn’t put up all that BS only to not be acknowledged at the end. Should’ve skipped the Ashlyn and Colt chapters

I feel like j should have read this last. Or like this should have come out after Mia story? But overall it was basically just a bonus long epilogue for all our favs deal with marriage, pregnancy, new stardom and more. It was cute. Wholesome.
⭐️⭐️ // For fans who’ve kept the whole crew straight from the start, this might feel like a warm, chaotic hug.
Let Me Love You reads like a reunion tour for the entire Don’t Let Me universe, with chapters bouncing between couples at a dizzying pace. At first, I felt like I needed a family tree and a whiteboard just to keep track. But once I reoriented myself, I remembered what Kelsie Rae does best: crafting distinct characters with strong arcs and real emotional depth. While the pacing kept things moving, not all storylines held my interest, and some emotional beats didn’t quite land for me. The spice felt repetitive, like the back-to-back spice, especially when jumping from one sibling to another’s romance, left me feeling more like an awkward observer than an invested reader. Overall, I think there’s plenty here for longtime fans to appreciate, but I found myself wishing for more nuance and less noise
This one’s my least favorite of the series. Honestly it’s okay, I think, it’s more of a personal preference issue.
The fact that it was written in multiple points of view from like all of the characters really threw me off. I did like that it included everyone from their lil group, but it was just a lot of drama & opinions.
I’m not crying, you’re crying! This was the follow up story I never knew I needed! I laughed, I cried, it was just so great! And the bonus epilogue was everything! I’m kind of sad to see this crew go!
This book is not a stand alone; it is a where they are now and where they are going. You need to read the first three books to get the most from it.
I could say this is the book I did not know I needed, but I should not doubt this author, as she always gives us just what we need. I love catching up with the couples and seeing their current life challenges. Have tissues near, prepare to laugh, and love these characters as much as I do.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Oooh I’ve never wanted to shake sense into some fictional characters so much in my life! The definition of over thinkers and I still couldn’t love them more! I can’t wait to read the next generation’s stories I love this group so much.
2.75 ⭐️. Ugh! I was so angry throughout most of this! Like I loved colt and it almost ruined him for me! The Taylor boys were as amazing as ever! The ending was sweet, which probably saved it and I look forward to Mia and Henry’s book!
This book is unnecessary! Or at least it should've been after Mia's book! Like why do we have a family tree with husband and kids if she is currently single. And the worst part is the epilogue. It can exist but in the end of the last book not before Mia's book! Why is this apple work in the end of this book if everything happens in there 10 years later and Mia already got kids and we even got to see her like a mother. She's single like a pringle right now, WHY DID WE SPOIL EVERYTHING.
I absolutely loved this book! Let Me Love You is a sequel to the first three books in the Don’t Let Me series. This story deals with Colt & Ashlyn, Theo & Blakley, Mack & Kate and Mia. You get to see further into their lives. You also get a glimpse into Mia’s story that happens in Don’t Let Me Down. You get all the emotions watching all of them go through so much. This book makes me want to re-read the entire series! I can’t wait for Don’t Let Me Down!
okay it was good and there was SO MUCH drama so I ate it up. kinda confused why it was book 4 and not 5 tho bc it had an epilogue set 10 years later so maybe it should’ve been the last book but whatever
I absolutely loved this peek into the lives of some of my favorite book couples. Seeing their relationships grow through difficult situations, figuring out their futures.
Multiple POV, Romance, Hockey Romance, Plot Twist, Expanded Epilogue
I felt all the emotions while reading this book. I was shook! This book made me laugh out loud, hold my breath, cried a little, yell "what!" "OH NO." I like the extra little tidbits of information that this book gave, however, Mia and Henry's parts kinda gave away book five "Let Me Down" ending.
The spice started early in this book (page 11) which I am not complaining. It was spicy!! I also found this book so funny! I love these character so much! The way they came together and formed a family was amazing! Tell me if I'm wrong but I get FRIENDS vibes.
Kate and Mack's news!!! I was not expecting that. (don't want to spoil) I was shocked. Colt's news, not so much really because I read A Little Complicated 1st (I know I went out of order) but the way it went down I was surprised.
