Seemed more of a collection of short stories. Good to read to kids as a bedtime story as it is an engaging quick story with short chapters. Plot wise it seemed greatly sumerized and the character development was lacking. Made Robin less of a relatable character, there was jo conection. He did not come to life from this book.
This was one of two books presented to me when I left primary school in July 1986.
Memory tells me that I've read this twice. I will have read it around the time it was presented to me and, although I recall little about it now, I know I really liked it.
I definitely read it a second time, as I recollect my being somewhat disappointed with it. No doubt a few years had passed and the book had become "too young" for me.
Derick Brown is credited as the illustrator, not the author. I believe the author to be anonymous, as no name features on the spine, covers, or inside the book.
