This book is useful for all ages, if you are young with small children, it's good not to have built-ins and furniture with sharp corners, same as for older folk. Other items like pull out drawers in kitchen cabinet bases are a blessing for people who like easy access and organized storage. It's also a good read for home buyers, will that lovely home you're looking at serve your future needs? What if you suddenly need to take care of an elderly relative? How should you evolve your home as you remodel and replace possessions?

Krueger's website is http://seniorresource.com, it's worth a peek. This book is an excellent read for those interested in comfortable living for all ages and covered topics I haven't read about, which is impressive.

I really liked the format of this book. There were pictures with blurbs and fake sticky notes emphasizing potential problems and solutions for aging at home.
