This book has detailed articles about how to sew home items such as curtains and placements, including what types of fabric would be suitable. Step by step instructions with pictures are very helpful.

I recently started sewing again and picked up a lot of books at the library to brush up on techniques. This book was one of them. I found the first part to be extremely helpful because it went over basic tools needed and parts of the machine.

The book is mainly geared towards curtains, pillows, and table clothes. It also has a section on different types of fabric, which is extremely comprehensive.

Good guide if you are making any kind of home decor.
