Admittedly a bit dated and geared towards people who want to be professional songwriters and not singer-songwriters, this book is still a pretty solid guide to the basics of songwriting and publishing. The editing is terrible, leaving grammatical mistakes and misspellings of famous artists' names, which seems tacky given that she is an expert in her field.
