“Lay it On Me” is an inspirational faith -based book that revolves around the Biblical story of the young widow Ruth who guided by the Holy Spirit leaves Moab to live with her mother-in-law in Bethlehem after the deaths of Naomi’s husband and sons. A trustworthy, hard-worker Ruth comes to the attention of wealthy landowner Boaz not only to be blessed in the years ahead as he helps Naomi regain her husband’s land but in their union which is honored with a future King and the coming Jewish Messiah.

Like all of Perry Stone’s books there are lessons to be learned about adhering to the principals of our faith even when "troubles and trials" besiege us and by overcoming them to experience the full measure of God’s blessings. Sharing his own personal experience in the Ministry and his life, Perry concludes with seven principals that he learned like Ruth as she walked in the blessing and favor of God.

Short in length but crammed with sound principles to be guided by, this is a book for every Christian to read. I enjoyed it and plan to use its teaching in my Christian walk with the Lord.
