Truth or Dare

Rate this book
Dare has always been the hothead in the pair - her twin, Nick, he was the calm, cool and collected one. But now Nick is dead, found murdered in their local cemetery, and Dare, on forced leave from her job as a Chicago police officer, goes back to her childhood home to attend the funeral. It becomes apparent to Dare that the local authorities aren't being straight with her about what's been going on in the little Midwestern town she grew up in. The detective in her kicks in and she decides to find out what-or who-has killed her brother, so she moves in temporarily with her father and stepmother, takes a job in a local bar, and starts asking questions. Her focus fixes on Shane, her brother's best friend. The tension between the two of them has always been palpable, and nothing has changed. Sparks fly as they collide, and while Dare finds herself sinking in deeper with Shane, the mystery of what happened to her brother-and an ever growing list of victims-grows even stranger...

Don't ask me why or how I ended up reading this one. It just sort of happened.

I was actually surprised to be interested and intrigued when I read the first 2 chapters, and then it stayed ok and later on when the it was just ok too. But nothing that wow-ed me.

Happy readings!

Not what you would expect from Selena Kitt - though, not BAD so much as just a surprise.
I really liked the story idea, it just seemed a bit disjointed in places, and made a few jumps in progress that felt awkward.
Still a good effort, and worth the read.

I was looking at my library and came across this, and the description sounded so familiar that I knew I'd read it before. Turns out, this is the same as Graveyard Games by Sheri Leigh (a Selena Kitt alias) and I had read that one. Now it all makes sense.

SO far this book is so not what I was expecting. It is definitely not your usual Selena Kitt book.. by any means. It is regular fiction and it is AWESOME!!!!
