While I am glad that our girls are moving beyond books like these, this one was fairly amusing. The goofiness ensues as boots gets his wish for bananas every time he says, "bananas." More time is spent on this, and the adventure to her Abuelo's house is almost an afterthought. But it follows the traditional Dora the Explorer pattern and they get to their final destination and reverse the wish.
