Spongebob Squarepants was one of my favorite shows growing up. SpongeBob wrote a essay about how much he loved his mom. Mr. Krabs told SpongeBob to have a bring your mom to lunch day. The Krusty krab was filled with moms. But sponge bobs mom couldn't make it. SpongeBobs essay won and his mom was on TV because she made it after all!

I usually do not like SpongeBob, but I read them to my special needs sons because that is what they like. But this one (and not because it's about good mom's) but it's written very nice, no hyperness no negative none of the drama that usually follows SB. He enters a contest about bragging his mom is the best; that gives Mr Krabs and idea to have bring your mom to Krusty Krabs day. The day of the event SB mom calls and can't make it so SB is sad. BUT while his friends tease that his mom isn't there and isn't the best. SB had won the contest and the fancy car stops and gets her and brings her to Krusty Krabs because to her the thing she wants most is to simply have lunch with her son. From my perspective this was a good story; from a typical SB loving youth probably not going to be a favorite due to the non hyperness in it.
