This was fun. My wife picked this one out for me at a HPB because it looked like something she thought I’d enjoy, and she was right! The art style was unique and appealing to me and the story was wild and entertaining.

Killing is pretty funny in this comic. It's trivialised for comic effect. Beheadings, shooting, stabbings and eviscerations shouldn't be funny, but here they are thanks to the many occurances and the cartoony artwork. Too bad there's no sequel.

Dave Sloan is living a double life. On the one hand he has a regular office job and on the other he is the chosen one, a warrior of Heaven guided by the angel Uriel. He is granted the Vision which reveals that half the people on Earth are evil demons hiding among normal humans and causing mayhem. He hates the job, but can't turn his back on his responsibility.

Wildly creative, humor-filled, and well-written, this unique graphic novel follows an Everyman who's been tasked with the gruesome task of destroying the throngs of demons who walk the Earth. Trouble is, to everyone else, the demons just appear to be regular people, so our hero is being hunted as a homicidal maniac! Did I mention his girlfriend's a cop?

Super-fun, if you don’t take it too seriously, and the artwork and writing match each other perfectly. Kind of book that makes you wish there were five or six additional volumes waiting for you, when you’re done. But for a great mix of laughs and carnage, you can’t go wrong with Killer of Demons.

I enjoyed this one. The concept was a fun one and the artist's style was unique. At times I had a little trouble with reading the Angel's script but I like how different types of characters got different types of speech balloons; it helped to distinguish voices and carry the story. The ending got a little too grandiose for me but I did enjoy it. I'll be re-reading this one, I'm sure, but it might not be for a while.

I really enjoyed this book, it had ne laughing out loud at times. The premise is pretty original for a comic. I thought the lead character was a lot of fun, him being the straight man to just about every other character. I loved the fact that his girlfriend stood by her man, pretty much, no questions asked. You should really try this book, it's a tremendous amount of fun. I', smiling as I write this because of how much fun I had reading it. The only bad thing is there's not a sequel.

OH MY GOSH IT WAS DAMN FANTASTIC.

I admit it, I've just started it because of the rumours that if its movie gets made by Scott Derrickson, Joel McHale will star in it and if there's something with Joel McHale, I want to know about that thing as much as possible. But it was damn worth it, please make the movie of it.

---SPOILER---

Uriel was definitely my favourite. After getting beaten by Lucifer, and of course Dave got himself checked in a mental institution, Uriel's reaction - quoting him: "You goddamn pussy." - was fantastic. He also saved Dave's ass during the big fight and I clapped for him so hard, my hands hurt! I believe that Dave also killed that Killer of Angels hahah.

Dave is also brilliant. He has that doubts everyone would but HE ATTACKED PEOPLE WITH A DOUBLE SIDED AXE AND SWORDS AND HE IS A REAL HERO. I don't believe that he's insane, I choose to believe he's divine.

RACHEL OH MY GOD. Best girlfriend ever. Cleaning up Dave's mess, and not hesitating to get her hands dirty, she is also my hero. Brilliant.

The Team Heaven is a bunch of idiot douchebags, no surprise that Lucifer outsmarted them. Kind of.

My favourite scene was when Mike (Dave's brother) was about to attack that pedophile guild in a game (which is very appreciated, to include a minor story like that) Dave walked in with a bunch of satanists following him and there was a death match while Mike was completely focused on the game. It was so funny and amazing I adored it.

---SPOILER---

Read this thing for sure. Please. It's so funny and smart and I love it, okay?!
