I bought this book in 2004 for a cross country road trip. I would not have survived without this book, simply amazing. I am vegetarian and DO NOT eat fast food, without this book I would have starved for the 56 hour trip (3-4 days). The best part about the book, was that with its easy-to-follow directions, it took me off the highways and into little towns that I would have otherwise not seen. I got to eat healthy in Little Rock, Arkansas... Lincoln, Nebraska... Laramie, Wyoming... just to name a few. If you are planning a road trip, even a short one, this book is a must have travel companion!
