Who Am I?: New Testament Pictures of the Christian Life
In a day when Christians struggle with questions of identity crisis and the search for self-discovery, Dr. Wiersbe points not to self-help books but to the New Testament for answers. The Holy Spirit, the Master-Teacher, uses things we know about--sheep, stones, bread, soldiers, runners--to teach us the unknown, deep spiritual truths about ourselves. He points out twelve pictures from the New Testament to show what a Christian is and what he or she ought to be.

Reading a book by Warren Wiersbe is like having a conversation with an old friend. I enjoyed his writing as a teenager, and now, pushing 60, I am back for more. This wonderful book looks at 12 New Testament metaphors for the Christian life. Wiersbe presents thoughtful explanations and meditations on these pictures and, even though some are very familiar, he shows new ways to pause and consider them. I especially appreciated "A Pilgrim Citizen," "A Stone in God's Building," and "A Runner in the Race." Thought-provoking, encouraging, and even inspiring thoughts for believers, young or old!

The ideas in this book lacked organization. Mr. Wiersbe usually writes very succinctly, but not this time. There was no clear thread linking the chapters together. In the end, I did not have a clear picture of the author's purpose; therefore, I don't recommend reading this book.
