What is it about?

This book aims to provide you with a solid foundation for learning Spanish. The author acknowledges that the best way to learn language is immersion, but he hopes to provide you with a basic understanding of the grammatical rules and structure.

Was it good?

It is a short book. The author is easy to understand and I feel that I not only learned about the Latin American Spanish language, but I also learned more about the english language parts of speech than I learned in high school english class.

This book is very light on vocabulary. It provides some examples but reminds you that you have to learn the language by being exposed to it and practicing and following your curiosity. 

The short stories are simple and expose you to more of the syntax and words. I think they are a good way to immerse yourself in the language even if you don't understand most of what you are reading. (I didn't, by the way!) 

Overall, I am glad I read this book!
