I think that, as another reviewer stated in a slightly different way, this book provides a good introduction to and overview of the work of the fascinating artist Paul Klee (1879-1940). Those planning to read the English version of this book might find it of interest that, while the text was originally written in French, the English translation by Eileen B. Hennessey is, in my opinion, quite readable. Prospective readers might also be interested to know that the illustrations are, I think, well-chosen and of good quality.

A great and straightforward introduction to Klee's works. I absolutely fell in love with some of his paintings!
