About the author

James Paddock spent his youth in the Big Sky Country, of Montana, graduating Charles M. Russell High School in Great Falls. The following forty-plus years include a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho, service with the U.S. Navy, owner/operator of a small business in South Carolina, a career as a Graphic Designer and a marriage that produced three fine children, who then have provided bragging rights for many extremely fine grandchildren. James is now living in Florida with his wife, Penny, enjoying the sun and working on his next novel.

Great nail-biting thriller with solid characters, fast moving plot and page turning suspense.

The story never stops, James pulls you along kicking and screaming for more for the whole book. Love stories that grab, hold you and make you stay up until 2AM reading.

I'm ready for my next James Paddock book!

Where were you on September 11, 2001? I was at work, when the terrorist attacks happened. This fictional story takes place in the time leading up to that. Ordinary people caught up in events, that will change our lives forever.

audible:This was really good.A missed yard sale date alerts a friend that Maureen is in trouble.Bringing the ex husband into it leads to terrorists and 9/11/01.Narration by Jessica McEvoy was excellent.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

We have lost documents, weapons , threats, an ex husband and terrorists . Best of all a very protective Labrador retriever. Oh yes a little romance .
