Rate this book
The streets of ATL are about to get hotter than lava after Youngblood is snatched up and beaten down by unknown thugs. Vowing fatal revenge on his attackers, Youngblood is released from the hospital only to return home and discover that Cheryl has run off with his stash and his two daughters. Heartbroken over the loss of his daughters and money, he is ready to pick up that steel again, put on a ski mask and go back to jackin d-boys for their cake. His homie, Murder Mike gives him an ultimatum that tests his principles. While struggling with a do-or-die dilemma, Youngblood must also decide between Inez and Juanita. Inez accepts him as he is. Juanita on the other hand wants to help him leave the life of the streets behind. When a hustla has two thorough chicks, which one does he choose? The streets will decide that! Youngblood must deal with enemies who are closer to him then he realizes. The way he deals with these problems will determine his fate. Trust No Man 2 is an explosive and emotionally charged end to this true-to-life hood classic!

WOW.

This book was a hardcore story about getting it how you live. I was definitely NOT a Youngblood fan from the beginning, but something about how his story was told in book 2, had me looking at him differently.

Cash, you gave a lot to this story with book two. I felt the raw emotions from each character.

I am so afraid to go to book two, but it IS A MUST!!!

Youngblood’s story continues as he is discharged from the hospital in bad shape from a random beat down. But this is the least of his worries as he comes home to find the unthinkable has happened. Angry, bitter and set on revenge, he is determined to find out who is at the heart of these horrible things happening in his life.

His negative attitude towards women never changes, but that doesn’t stop the women from continuing to flock his way. Inez continues to hold him down in whatever way he wants, despite the danger she could be putting herself in. Having him seemed to be all she needs and wants. But he wants more than just her complete loyalty and continues to deal with other women, even as he lives with her.

His patient nature was an asset, as over time he was able to avenge those who had violated him. But payback is a bear on his back riding him right into hiding, as his actions have finally caught up with him. The walls seem to close in all around him, and though he sees the consequences of his actions and how they have affected others, it’s too late to turn the hand. The script has been written and he must pay the piper. What’s done in the dark always comes to the light and there is always a price to pay for the mistakes of the past.

Layer upon layer of lessons were presented in this book. Cash has managed to tell the story in the most real and uncut way as only he can. While the choices of Youngblood’s life cost far more than he ever bargained for, you have to respect a person who deals with the consequences like an adult, accepting full responsibility for his actions. Sometimes the lessons we need to learn are the ones that cost us the most. As with other stories I’ve read by him, Cash has the ability to tug on my emotions. It’s so easy to feel for his characters and want a different hand for them, but the reality remains is that everyone loses in living the street life.

Bring It On!

Down for a little while, but certainly not out, Youngblood is on the prowl. Topping his list are his baby mama, Cheryl, who ran off with his stash and his daughters, and the unknown individuals who tried to lay him down. His answer to the unknown, "I'd ride on ALL my enemies, that way I was sure to get the guilty one." Youngblood's agenda quickly changes as he is made an offer he can't refuse by friend Murder Mike. Seeing dollar signs and a win-win situation, he's down for the cause. Will Youngblood keep it funky and always remember his own creed to trust no man?

After briefly bringing readers up to speed with how part one ended, which I found helpful, TRUST NO MAN 2 kicks into overdrive. With a good measure of action and drama, TNM2 was a very quick and easy read. I actually enjoyed this book more than its predecessor. Two things that did it for me: Youngblood's growth and the realistic consequences to actions. Very seldom is there a happily ever after, but you can't tell that by some of this street lit today, as if there are no reactions for every action. It was a gamble, but it was a gamble that paid off for this reader.

Can't trust no man and you can't trust ne bitch...Sad but true. Cahs picks up right where he left off with this one. Most sequels fall off and take away from the first novel, but not this one. Cahs keeps it poppin. I was emotionally connected to this book because it's a real life story of loyalty and betrayal. Only those close to us can hurt us. I'm not gonna give it away, but I will say if you have "Trust No Man" and you don't have "Trust No Man 2", you're trippin. I'm certifyin this 'ish as Gangsta!

This was a good read; however, it is my belief that the Trust No B_ _ _ _ 1, 2, & 3 Novel series is just better! **

Trust No Man by Ca$h ; Trust No Man 2 by Ca$h ; & Trust No Man Part 3 (Wahida Clark Presents) by Ca$h

I read this book in one day! Like the 1st it's a def. page turner. You can't help but want the absolute best for Youngblood although his way of life isn't ideal. He loves his children and he is loyal to the two leading women in his life. Usually, that situation would seem wrong but both women are willing participants and choose to fit in where they can. They both are ride or die chicks down to protect their man. I can't wait for the 3rd installment of this series.

Trust No Man 2 is truly a hardcore glimpse of thug life. Youngblood's violent actions continued to become more vicious especially after he teamed up with Murder Mike. After committing a revenge killing he was forced to leave town and went into hiding. A life that was close to him was lost due to his actions. He was surprised to find out that one of his closest boys was the snitch that led to his capture & arrest. In the end, he paid for all of the brutal acts of violence he had committed.

YoungBlood did his thug thing, just like "Trust No Man" first book. Ca$h keeps it gangsta AF. Page turner from page 1 to the back of the novel.
