If you love pasta this is THE book for you. The recipes are delicious and generally very easy to make using only fresh ingredients. It's changed the way I cook pasta forever.
I love pasta but found this book a little bland. The layout was hard to follow with little white space. And the recipes did little to spark my interest. Though my opinion may be biased because "the pasta bible" by Christian Teubner is my most well love pasta book.
Lots of information, tons of photos, and plenty of recipes. Was spun off into several smaller books all with some of the info and recipes, but this is the better one since it has the most of all.
Very detailed guide on pasta which was a great eye opener and made me realise how little I knew. On the other hand, the part about the different types of pasta was so overwhelmingly detailed that I had a hard time getting through it. There were also a wide variety of recipes which were presented in an easy-to-follow format so it gave me many new ideas to cook pasta.
