Littlest Red Riding Hood is a teeny-tiny mouse on her way to Grandmother's house with a basket full of treats. She meets a sneaky wolf who wants to steal the snacks. Will the wolf get away with the goodies or will there be enough for everyone to share?
This little Level 2 reader is sure to be a big hit with Littlest Pet Shop fans and emerging readers!
LRRH lived in the forest with her mother, one day she has to take her grandma some food for their picnic! On her way to grandma's house, there was a wolf that smelt her delicious snacks. When he got to grandma's house there was a sign on the door saying she was going to the garden shop. The wolf decided to pretend he was grandma so he could eat all the snacks LRRH brought to grandma's house. At the end of the story grandma, LRRH, and the wolf shared the snacks.

This a super-sweet version of Red Riding Hood that gives an updated politically correct spin on how the characters interact. Designed for young readers, Littlest Red Riding Hood has the characters interact in an open communication where the wolf admits he tries to trick Littlest Red Riding Hood because he was hungry. The Grandmother, who was missing because she was at the Garden Store, calls the wolf back for a picnic they can all share. Gone is the Hunter, gone is all of the gorier aspects of this store and in it's place is a story of communication and sharing.
Traditional-literature book #24 This book is about mice. Littlest red riding hood is going to have a picnic with her grandma. A little wolf over hears this and follows littlest red riding hood and then runs ahead to grandma's house. He sees that grandma is not home, so he puts on her stuff and tries to act like grandma. So littlest red riding hood starts to have a picnic with the little wolf and all sudden grandma shows up. The little wolf goes to take off running but grandma stops him. In the end they all end up becoming friends and have a picnic together.
I am all for making things nice for small children but this ultra sweet version of Little Red Riding Hood is a little to sugary for me plus I am not crazy about books that are written to market a product. Don't get me wrong, we like littlest pet shop and I have some huge fans living in my house but let's not write books about them....
This is an appropriate book for younger ages because in the end instead of the wolf being killed, little red riding hood and the wolf become friends. Shows how resolution can be made through any argument or disagreement.
In my experience with this early reader books, the material is SO SO SO boring. I was really surprised how cute and good this one was. Even though its a tale thats been told before it was fun to read. Its re-readable as well.
Cute version of the Little red riding hood story, but ends in a friendship instead of any killing of the wolf. Preschool, kindergarten, 1st graders would like this.
I love the traditional Little Red Riding Hood. This book takes a popular toy, littlest pet shops figurines, and gives the story new life. This is a level 2 scholastic reader.
