One Day in the Life of Bubble Gum is a great book for Prek-8th grade levels. I picked up a copy of this book because I recall reading this story in school. The book's theme is that even a piece of gun experiences changes throughout its life span. Teachers could use this book in multiple ways depending on the grade level. Younger students could learn that everyone has a purpose and that what we experience and learn makes us better. Older students can use this book in a writing class to be inspired by these young writers. An example of teamwork can be used since the story was written by a group of authors and illustrators. I love going on this journey with the gum and seeing and feeling life via the eyes of bubble gum. It is a happy story wrapped with many life lessons.

This is a very clever book written by fourth graders about what happens to bubble gum. It takes quite the adventure and has a great ending!

This book is interesting because it was written and illustrated by five 4th grade students. Each student to a part in writing and drawing the story. I would use this book for a creative writing lesson for my 2nd-4th grade classes. It also shows you why you shouldn't stick your gum to anything, but should just throw it away. Litter and the environment could also be touched on this story.
