Recommends it for: Interested in investing
This is, without a doubt, the best, safest and most logical book I've read so far on investing. No big promises of instant wealth, just a nice portfolio based on index funds which will grow and compound over the years. This is also the first site I've gone to that offers all services and advice for free. It has a cerey clever little calculator that compiles facts about you, then it spits out a step by step plan that will transform anyone's financial life.

Most of this material was not new to me, but I still found it interesting in contrast to the Millionare Next Door and in the context of the present economy. The main difference vs. the Millionaire Next Door is that the latter shows very few actual millionaires got there by following an armchair strategy. Given the events of the past two years, I skeptically checked the web to see if www.armchairmillionaire.com was still there. It was, and I can see why.
