I picked this book up on a whim at the library, and I'm so glad I did. This book challenged, helped, amused, delighted, and inspired me. I had to put it down every few minutes to look up another book or website. Not only did it give me ideas to add to my homeschool, but it gave me ideas for how to better myself.
The authors' discussion of cultural literacy was very thought provoking. While I've read many books that tout the importance of developing goals for your homeschool, this book was the first to convince me of that importance.

This book was wonderful for the humorous anecdotes about the early days of homeschooling and their amusing dog. They also have some interesting recommendations for books and equipment that I haven't seen in other books.
