Light to Mid weight C#

This book is well written and easy to read. It covers almost all the topics an introductory programming book should cover and more... Objects, classes, generics, structures, polymorphism, collections, input and output, ado.net for extracting information from a database, and inheritance. All this is shown using code examples on visual studio or visual studio express. Don't buy this book if you know these topics already! Buy if you are curious about switching over to C# from another programming language and want to make sure you've got the basics down.

This book was very good for a quick overview of the C# language without much depth. My rating would have been higher had there not been so many typos in the edition I read. I read this through Books24x7 so I am not sure if this was a publisher issue or an issue with Books24x7.
